Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went on a Carnival Cruise, like you guys did, for 7 days to Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize, and Costa Maya.

Everything was so wonderful, it couldn't have been any better.

I didn't have a photographer at the reception, so I'm waiting on pictures from friends and family for that.

I'll post pics of the honeymoon in the next couple of days. We had a blast!!!

Thanks so much! We were inspired by vintage hairstyles in this really cool (and rare) book called Vintage Hair. It has awesome updo's from way back when. This particular style wasn't in the book, but my MOH added her own creativity to it and made a vintage style just for me!

I've never had my hair quite that fancy before, I felt like a celebrity! LOL

Thanks!!! :D The wedding and honeymoon were both so much fun, everything turned out perfect. Especially on our honeymoon, I was determined to take lots of pictures because I knew we wouldn't be traveling again for a while. I need to preserve the memory as long as I can!! LOL

I'm trying to round up pictures of my reception, since we didn't have a photographer for it. I really hope that I end up with at least a few!

Awwww.. I remember when Amber & Jason were in Jamaica on their honeymoon, and they had towel animals too. They just loved them! Here is a pic from their hotel room. lol :)

We also had the casino, gym, running track, and pools, hot tubs, water slides...let's see...a spa, a theater with live shows (Show girls, big band orchestra, and comedy, etc.),

I just went on to look at the Inspiration, it looks like the only difference is that the Valor has a whole bunch of balcony rooms available, in addition to ocean view, inside cabins, and suites. All of the features of the boat look to be nearly identical.

That's okay, yeah, we did have a balcony room. It made the small living space so much more bearable. And the balconies are very private, so we kind of got to make out and such right there as we were cruising along and the sun was setting. Very romantic.

The only problem now, is that was my first time crusing. I don't think I'd want to take anything OTHER than a balcony room because now I'm spoiled. LOL.

haha thats OK to be spoiled that sounds VERY romantic and very nice to have that much space. Ours was the cheap seats and we wished we would have known how much a window would have made a difference. Sounds heavenly. Was this the first time either of you cruised? It was our first time and we LOVED it and hope to head on another one sometime!

It was my first time, but Jason has been on several cruises. This was the first cruise where he ever had a date, though, LOL.

Jason's family wants us and our daughters to go on a family cruise in September, so I might get to do it sooner than later.

Wow your wedding pics are amazing. I was actually just kind of rethinking the red in my wedding, but the pics made me feel reassured because the red was beautiful. The updo that you chose was so perfect. I may just try to find that book that you mentioned to get some inspiration of my own. I LOVE the edgy tattoos against the elegant clothing. The juxtaposition was really striking.

Thank you! I was so afraid of my tattoos showing, I thought of covering them up, but then I realized that it would be silly, because they are a part of who I am. I love all of my tattoos because Jason designed them all especially for me and tattooed them on with love. LOL.

We loved the red, too. It's such a bold color, and it goes good with so many different themes!

We haven't chosen any to frame just yet, since we want to choose them together and we haven't had any time alone since we got back from the honeymoon! LOL. Hopefully sometime next week we'll get to sit down and decide on a few of them.

The guy who took our engagement pictures took one of the black & white pics from the beach (one of our favorite shots) and blew it up to like 18 x 24 and we're framing that for our living room. It came out amazing.

Although I am a little late in posting, I just wanted to say that everything looked wonderful! You made a beautiful bride!! I loved the red (that is my color too, but with silver). We are doing the same type of thing you did with the guys' tuxes. They are going to have black shirts under their suits with the red vest and tie. I just really liked seeing your images! Thanks so much for sharing them with us!
