In some of my research today I found a couple sites for the couple that has everything! They allow couples to "register" for their favourite charity and guests can give money to the charity of your choice instead of buying a gift!

We actually had a member who did this for her wedding. In lieu of a wedding favor, they donated money to a charity in honor of their guests. They printed out little white cards with a pearl border that thanked everyone for attending and explained the donation and the charity along with the website for that charity. They got a lot of nice compliments on them. :D
