It was going to cost me $90.00 to clean and preserve my dress. $300 seems like a lot. I'm not sure where you called, but check with a drycleaner. I do know that the bridal store was much more expensive than the drycleaner. Good luck!

I posted a thread about my dress preservation adventure. As it turns out, Mom and I are going to wash my dress in the washing machine.

I'd definately call around and try to get a better price. I swear, as soon as you get an engagement ring, people think you that your FH also planted a money tree.

Around $100 sounds right....$300 sounds a little high.

When I was calling around, it seemed that most dry cleaners that dry clean formal clothes will also do wedding gown preservation. I was quoted $99. in my area (south florida)
