Hi Everyone,

Trying to figure out what type of tux or ? something would go with sage green. Looking for a tux that is light and airy because our wedding will be outside in the spring. Does not even have to be a tux. Can be something less formal.

Any Ideas?

You don't have to have tuxes. How about a nice ivory or khaki linen suit with a sage green shirt. No tie is even needed. Or a pair of nice khaki pants and a nice sage shirt. Check out www.jcrew.com I LOVE thier men's line, especially the blazers and pants. They also have great shirts and ties.

When one of my coworkers got married, her groom work black jeans and a black button up shirt. While my groom is going to be wearing a tux, you could go with anything. Talk to your groom about it; after all, you got to pick your dress. :)

The style of tux is usually matched to the occasion. My best suggestion is to go to a tux shop and tell them how formal or informal your wedding will be and listen to there suggestions. Try to balance that they are professionals with they are trying to sell you stuff. You don’t have to have tuxes if you don’t want, or you may only want the groom in a tux and the groomsmen slightly less formal. Try tux shops, wedding magazines and the internet for wedding photos that will give you some ideas.

Or you could do an ivory jacket and a sage green vest ...

Or like the other poster's said you can do something a little less formal.

Best wishes,

This is part of my problem. I know we can do just about anything. My FH was talking the other day of just having all guys, himself included, in suits. I would love to see him in a tux but if this is what he wnts it is not a formal thing. It is an outside wedding and I am looking for a simple dress. My problem is I want a simple dress with some color to it and I dont want to spend a fortune on it. Talk with you FH and see what he might like to wear. I am sure what ever you guys decide on will look great.
