Is there anywhere you would like to go (on vacation maybe) that you havent been before?

Are ya looking for someplace warm with beaches, or more of a mountains feel? We decided on Disney World. Our wedding is in October so it's hurrican season for most of the beachy areas on the east coast. That and I've never been and have always wanted to and it's his favorite place on earth. So we are going to go all out. Another thing we looked into is a cruise too. They are so relaxing and there is so much to do!!!

Sean and I are going to an all inclusive in the Bahamas. That way, we don't have to worry about anything. We just show up and relax. After a hectic 15 months of wedding plans, it sounded like Heaven.

Jason and I weren't able to afford anything really extravagant, so we picked the Caesar's Poconos Resorts. It's close enough for us to drive so we don't have to worry about plane tickets, it's more affordable than anything else we were looking at, and it's all inclusive. I have to agree with you Lacey; thinking about getting to do absolutely NOTHING for a little while after all the hecticness that's been going on lately sounds so wonderful.

We didn't want to do anything out of country because of the state of the world at the moment. Between hurricanes and wars, we were afraid there'd be a problem with our plans, so we picked something in the US. There's lots of beautiful places to visit here anyways.

Originally I wanted to take an Alaskan Cruise, but we're really not going to be able to afford it though. We're gonna scrimp and save and go on one for one of our anniversaries though.

When are you getting married? We went to Hawaii and it was beautiful!! I guess it really depends on wether you want to stay in the U.S. or if you would like to travel outside of the States for your honeymoon! Its also wether or not you want Beachy or touristy.

It really all depends on what you guys want to do. All inclusive resorts or cruises are always nice, but it depends on your budget. We are going on a European cruise (Barcelona to Istanbul) and then will spend a week or so in Turkey with his family (plus Turkey is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and I can't wait to go again!). We chose this because we both wanted a cruise but I really wanted him to go home once more before the green card application starts, once we start that he can't leave the US for a year or so (well until the process is complete). Good luck to you! I hope you find the perfect honeymoon for you two.

I'm thinking Italy or Greece, these locations have great outdoor activities.

We're going to the Poconos. So much for original honeymoon. We were just looking for something we could slightly afford...of course, that's changed now. But we're hoping to squeeze it into our tinier budget.

It's amazing how close I am to quite a few people on this board. I know there's at least one person from the area where I grew up, Lacey's only about an hour east of here, there's someone who lives in the same area (sorry to that person, I can't remember you're name...by the way, Pat Catan's is moving), and then you're obviously not too far considering the honeymoon we picked was picked so we could drive there and not have to worry about plane tickets. And, Texas isn't too far...lol...I've done that drive a few times actually. :)

My Fh is in charge of the honeymoon. He hasnt planned anything yet. I did mention about what my sister did for hers. Meer baby was only a few months old so they didnt want to go far. The got a cabin on the lake for a week. They stayed local. Spent a couple of nights alone then brought their daughter for the remainder of the week. The cabin was huge and at the end of the road where the rest of the cabins are so no one was around. Close enough to town to go in and get food or movies or whatever you want. I would love to be able to sit on that porch at night and take it easy. And towards the end the kids can come up and go swimming and we can have a couple of days together for family time. And i would be close enough in case one of the kids got hurt and needed me. We could even have an afternoon towards the end of the week where we can invite every one ( my family ) out for a cookout and swimming and drinks. It was a thought i like it. I would love to go away but we have to watch the money issue. He wants to take me to TENN. Not sure why but he is a southern boy so who knows. Just to have the week with him and nothing to do , no rushing around with schedules and such. Just to be with HIM for a whole WEEK. I dont care where we go.
