Save the photo to your computer if it is an .jpg image. Do you have a photobucket account? If not you will need to get one. www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) Then you upload photos from your computer that you had previously saved. Once you have your photobucket you hit the image icon in your post and copy and paste the URL from your photo bucket. The icon you need to click to post in here it the square up above in your post that has the yellow back ground with what looks like a mountain.

when you post a reply here on the forum there is the yellow tab with the great mountains...Did you click on that and entere you URL?? As well, did you make sure the Http:// wasn't in that portion twice sometimes after clickin gon the image tab it, when it pops up to enter the url the http:// portion will already be in there.

To post pictures they have to be hosted somewhere on the web. If they are your pictures and you don't have a website you can use Photobucket to upload your pictures - http://www.photobucket.com/ Once you have your pics loaded then post the URL of the image between the image URL here tags

If you are surfing and want to post a picture you find online (like a picture of a cake or dress or something you want to share) you can right click on it and go to 'properties' and get the URL and then copy and paste it the same way as with the Photobucket thing. Although some websites won't let you 'hot link' images that way.

Either way you have to put the URL of the image between the tags. This is what the little mountain pic icon does too. If you don't see these icons, you will want to check your settings in your User CP.

It is not always 'legal' to 'steal' pictures from other websites, if you can't link to the picture I would just link to the page where the picture is.

You can also attach a photo to the post directly from your computer. If you have the digital image on your computer, then go click on the 'Manage Attachments' button under the 'Additional Options' heading below the submit button. Then click the 'Browse' button and find the image you want then hit 'upload' and it should attach to the post. But the picture has to be a fairly low res/small image.

One more thing to add to this method ... if you want the attached image to show up in the post, you can use www.TinyURL.com and make the URL shorter (so the link will work on the board) and then paste the new shorter URL in the [img] tags as noted before :)

There are lots of other posts here (in the FAQ forum) about picture posting you may also want to check out. I think they all have pretty much the same info in them, but some other people may have explained it differently too :bbmrgreen:
