Uncle Sam usually doesn't like me!! LOL! They always have to give me a decent refund. I have all the exemptions marked that I possibly can but with the child earned credit, day care credits, etc. and I still get something back!!

I did really well. I filed early and got enough back to pay off most of our wedding loan. :)

We did great, farm taxes and all...we sold quite a few cows but had tons of deductions for the farm so we got back several grand...

Did pretty well, I got a lot back. I was on commission at my last job and they tend to tax that pretty good so I always got a good refund. Mike had to pay a little. But since mine was a lot, we didn't really feel the money he had to pay out.

Mine was neither good nor bad. I didn't get anything back or have to pay anything because I was finishing college last year and didn't work at all. FH is getting about a grand back which will help us when we get ready to buy our own home in a few months. So all in all we did okay this year.

I work for myself so I don't get refunds anymore ;)
This past year I didn't work alot, so I only had to pay about $250.00. DH had to pay about $11,000 :bbeek:
He works for himself too, we have a savings account for taxes, but didn't have quite that much. We had to borrow some money on credit to pay it.
I guess if you look at it as he had a good year in sales then it isn't too bad, but it still sux a bit ;)

We got back $2600 from federal, but had to pay in $186 to state. Grrr.... But what we had to pay in from state we got back extra from what we were figuring from federal...so thats good.

we would have gotten $2,500.00 with our child tax and earned income but since joe owes in back child support they take his full return, so we had to file an injured spouse so that I can at least get my half back...I expect it to only be a couple of hundred. :bbmrgreen:

We don't have state taxes here in New Hampshire. I got back more when I was single with kids. But we didn't do to bad. I only clame one of my kids and being married and him making so much more money we didn't get hte earned income credit. But we made out good. I think we got almost 3 grand back. I have day care to clame but I can only clame about $400 of the over $1000s I pay in a year. Better then nothing at all I supose.
The state of New Hampshire has 2 more days to file as we had such bad weather yesterday. You oculd not even get out town yesterday so many roads were closed due to flooding. There were over 9000 homes in NH without power. Most for a couple of days. Some still without. Schools and day cares were closed. If that had been snow it would not have been sush a disaster but we would have ended up with about 5 feet of it.

I got back a little over $1,000, which is really good for me considering I'm single, no kids, no home ownership, so no big deductions. The only deduction I have is the interest on my student loans, which isn't really enough to make a difference.
BTW, I grew up in northern CT (right on the MA border), so another New Englander here! Although I haven't lived there since I graduated from high school.
