I have some great news...

My good friend Dawn was proposed to on Friday night!! We went out for a little with her new fiance and we began to start talking about when she wants to get married all that jazz. Well, not only has she asked me to help her plan but also she asked me to be her matron of honor. By the time they have their wedding I'll be a married woman then!! LOL! I'm so excited for them.

So, after I'm thru planning and having our wedding I get the honor of helping a great friend of mine. I'm going to throw her and engagement party this summer with all of our friends and their family!

When are they getting married?

You'll be an old pro by the time your wedding comes around so I know you'll be able to help her out alot. That's great!

They both want a fall wedding. But, what's hard is that they both want a long engagement too. They are thinking about fall 2008. Nothing officially set. I'm just so excited for them that I don't think I could get burned out from it all!

Yeah that's true. She is one of my closest friends too and she has been thru a lot. It's about time she found someone that treats her like she deserves to be treated. They want to have a very small simple wedding so I'm going to help her find what she wants!

its kinda fun planning someone elses wedding isn't? My brother is getting married in September and his fiance and I are super close, so it is fun seeing her plan like I did. :) Have fun!

I'm definately going to enjoy helping her! I remember a certain ex friend of mine who was upset that my FH proposed three weeks before her wedding. She was afraid I'd steal her thunder I guess. She's over it know but our friendship will never be the same. Anyhow, isn't it also weird that thru planning your wedding you find out who your true friends are?

oh my gosh, hahaha. I was just having this conversation with my mom. Through wedding planning I have lost two friends one out of jealousy and hate and the other because she was lazy and I called her on it. (A whole other story) Anyway, you really do find out who you can truly call a friend. Its sad, but I guess it is just a fact of life. haha

That's awesome. Congrats to your friend! I just heard from one of my friends from high school on Saturday saying she just got engaged too. We aren't that close of friends anymore but it'd be fun if she asked me for help planning her wedding.
