What did you always want to be when you grew up?

An author of novels like Judy Blume. That's what got me into first reading. I still enjoy writing, however, I've never published anything. I also wanted to be a nurse, but the site of blood...can't handle it.

1. Several people have influenced me, however, I mostly look up to my mom. Throughout her lifetime, she's experienced a painful divorce, the loss of two babies during birth, the loss of a husband (my father) but yet has endured it all and still continued to show love and be there for me, even when i didn't deserve it. She later married the man i call dad now. I admire him, too :)

2. My favoriet movie is Forest Gump!

3. If I could go anywhere in the world, let's see..that's tough. I love my home here in Kentucky, but have always wanted to go out west and travel on Route 66 through a desert.

What is on your "Things to do before you die" list?

I'd like to take about 2 months and just travel all over the country. I'd take a road trip out west first and drive the shores of the Pacific....all the way up to the Redwood Forest and visit all the historical place in between. I love taking photographs, so I'd like to tell the story of my trip in pictures to always have and pass down to my grandchildren someday.

I will cherish the memories of getting up on Saturday morning really early before the station was on for the day, waiting for Saturday morning cartoons to come on. In my day, we only watched cartoons once a week!

I was not a cheerleader by far...I made fun of them (sorry to any cheerleaders out there! It was just my insecurities coming out being a 16 year old) I was a really good girl who was quiet my freshman and sophomore year. My junior year, I turned kind of wild...got in trouble, ran away from home, smoked illegal substances. My senior year, I was a bit more mature and made honor roll....but loved to party on the weekends. I was the captain of the flag line in marching band. That's the most school activity I ever did. We had a really awesome band with over 200 members. About 2 years after I graduated, our band marched in the Macy's day parade (go figure...after I'm gone) :(
