What is the one thing you are most excited about your wedding? (Besides your man of course)
Well, you answered my question yourself...my man. But other than that, I think it will have to be the reception with my cousin and all our families. I'm really looking forward to it!

What is one adventurous thing you want to do with you hubby once you are married i.e. bungy jumping
Well, because I am so very afraid of high places...it won't be bungy jumping! LOL I guess I'm not sure...we're not teenagers anymore, so things like jumping out of airplanes or bungy jumping just isn't something we would do.
One adventure that we want to go on, though, is to go to Kansas to a Nextell cup race. If you call that an adventure. We sure do.
Otherwise, traveling is what we have planned, especially after we retire. My parents travel alot...and we want to do that too.

What do you most want out of life ... how do you want to be remembered?
I want most out of life to be content with where I'm at. (And I am!) I know that it won't always be this good...what life is?? But, I want to be content no matter what is happening.
I want to be remembered as a GREAT Wife, Mom and Grandma. I love my FH, kids and grandkids and nothing makes me happier than being with them and doing fun things with them.
Thanks for asking!
Nobody else has any questions for me?? :bbcry:

If you could live anywhere would you be?
What is your fondest memory of FH and you?
What is your favorite holiday?
If you could do anything with your life, what would you do?
If you could live anywhere would you be? Right where I'm at. I live in my grandparents house, 20 miles from the farm the other set of grandparents homesteaded and out in the middle of nowhere. It fits me perfectly. I love rural life.
What is your fondest memory of FH and you? There are a couple. The first one was our first picnic together, and the other is our first vacation together. They were both so romantic...it's no wonder I love this man so much.
What is your favorite holiday? Christmas...especially when we have little people around, like my kids when they were little, and now my grandkids. They are so full of awe about everything, it just makes it more special.
My favorite Sunday, though is Palm Sunday. I love all the pageantry that goes with Palm Sunday at church...even more than Easter Sunday. (I know, weird! LOL)
If you could do anything with your life, what would you do? I would love to be able to get every body to understand how bad smoking is for them and get them to quit. Because I am a Respiratory Therapist, I see the effects. My beloved Grandpa Theron died from the affects of smoking when I was a teen, and I have hated cigs ever since.

What is a typical day like for you?
What is a typical day like for you?
It totally depends on the day. I only work 3 days a week at the hospital, so those days are different than my days off.
On a work day, I'm up at 4:30AM to shower and get ready for the day. Then I drive 30 miles to work and should be there by 6AM. We do our first round of therapy, then paper work, then tests, then another round of therapy. By then it's lunchtime. After lunch we do some more tests (if there is any scheduled...today we have no tests scheduled), then another round of therapy. We usually can have a break in the afternoon, unless there is a bunch of paperwork to do. Then about 6PM we do our last round of therapy and go home. In amongst all this we respond to emergencies or whatever anyone else can think up for us to do.
On my days off, I am usually up by 7 (Bruce is a farmer, so we don't sleep in very often) I make coffee for Bruce, then we'll cuddle on the couch and watch the news. Then somewhere around 9 or so (depending on the weather) he leaves for the farm and I do housework stuff. Sometimes I watch my granddaughter if her daycare provider can't. Sometimes I work at the restaraunt that I used to work at before I went to RT school. Sometimes I go to the farm with Bruce.
Right now my moments of not working are taken up with planning the wedding. Wonder what I'll do when that's over?? LOL

Did you enjoy being a teenager?
What would you say to yourself if you were to meet the 16 year old Ger today?
I enjoyed most of my teen years. The year I was 13-14 was pretty tough. We moved to a new school, a new church, and my grandpa died...but otherwise, I had a lot of fun as a teen. We lived on a farm and had a lot of responsibilities, but we had a lot of fun too!
If I was to meet the 16 year old Gerri, I would say...don't try so hard. Not everyone is going to think you're a nice person. Be yourself...and if they like you, they like you...if they don't, it's their loss.
I told Bruce that you asked me what my fondest memory of us together is...and guess what? He actually said the very same ones that I did. I was quite impressed. Thank you for reminding about those.

If you could afford anything, what one thing would you buy?
That's a hard one! To pick out only one thing...hmmm. I think it would be a motorhome so we can travel. That is what we want to do after we retire.
My other thought was a motorcycle. Those are the first 2 that come to mind.

Thanks. You're so sweet. I think so too. I think I got it right this time! LOL

How did you know that Bruce was the one or what is it about Bruce that makes him the one??

He is a very loving man. He goes out of his way to make sure I feel special. He's been a great friend..a wonderful sounding block...and a fantastic supporter when my life wasn't so good. I figure if he can do all that AND still make me feel loved...what more can a woman ask for??

If you had one wish, what would you wish for?
If you had one wish, what would you wish for?
I would wish for a good long healthy life to hang out with my sweetie, my kids and my grandkids. I don't want to ever be a burden to anyone...but if I can be like my Grandma Edith and still be in my own home and playing with my great grandkids until I'm 85...I'll take it.
