DIY Pocket Invites.>HELP ME!

I really want to make these myself..but I dont even know where to start..I have googled it and can't come up with any instructions!

I guess I just want to know did you make the pocket folder part yourself or did you buy them? And did you find it more cost effective to do them yourself, or would it have been cheaper in the long run to buy them already made? Did you print the material yourself as well or did you take it somewhere to have it printed? I guess I just want to know it all! LOL..j/k...just how you did it! :)

I made the entire thing myself. I printed the invites on the computer...I printed the pics on the computer...I cut the folders and inserts...and none of it was hard...just VERY time consuming! I'm not sure about cost...I can get 2 invites out of 1 piece of 12 X 12 sheet. Then I used a 2nd sheet to make the inserts....plus the photo paper for our pics...and the vellum for the actual invite.

I can measure and let you know the folds if you like.

I also made my own folded invites from scratch. I found on a website that they would cost at least $5.00 each to have them made. I think making them myself was a lot cheaper, but time comsuming. Let me know as well if you have any questions. Here's mine:

I loved your invites Twigler..and they are actually my colors too! LOL...make me some! I think that we are just going to do the seal n send ones just because they are more cost effective and take less time..and what the heck..people just throw them away anyways..

But thanks ladies for all of your help...if we change our mind i'll definitely inquire more :)
