Our wedding is September 29th and we are having a noon wedding with a light lunch served immidiatley after the ceremony. I'd like pictures to be taken before the ceremony to save time.
We are getting married May 26th. Our ceremony is set to start at 1:30PM and our reception with my cousin is set for 7PM. (Her ceremony is at 6PM) Because we are getting married on the Capital City Queen, it is a 2 hour cruise, so we won't be done until 3:30 or so.

We are getting married July 7th. Our ceremony is planned for 3pm with the reception starting at 6pm. We may change the ceremony though so there's not as big of a gap in between but I don't know yet.

I have no idea what I'm doing for mine, but my sister got married last year in late April. Her ceremony was at 1:30pm, and the reception didn't start until 6pm. In between, they rented out a private room overlooking the bay (they live in Virginia Beach) at the Va Beach Aquarium. Guests could go there for some cheesy wedding games, light food (appetizers and snacks), and were free to roam the aquarium. They were afraid that with such a gap between ceremony and reception, a lot of people would only go to one or the other, but I think just about everyone was able to go to both.

I have a few questions:
1.) What month is/was your wedding in?
2.) What time did your ceremony start?
3.) What time did your reception start?
1. July (2006)
2. 230 PM (old wives tale...starting the ceremony on the half hour brings luck...the hands of the clock will be facing up "to catch love and luck and be filled with happiness")
3. Cake and punch was served at the church immediately following the ceremony...formal reception at different location started at 4PM (we held ours earlier due to us travelling 4 hrs to the honeymoon destination).

1.) What month is/was your wedding in?
September 15th 2007. We thought when we set the date that it wouldn't be a popular date because it was after labour day. was I ever wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could I would change it now though. Probably I would choose early summer.
2.) What time did your ceremony start? The ceremony starts at 3pm.
3.) What time did your reception start? Ours is a little confusing. Dinner is at 6pm but we're going to have a little lounge area set up for our guests to hang out and enjoy themselves with a piano player and possibly one of my clients playing guitar. The bar will be set up there and so on.

We're thinking 4:30 for ceremony with reception to follow. Food will be served at around 6:30. Or reception is ending with fireworks so it has to be dark by the end... hence the late start time.

We're getting married in October... the ceremony will start at 4pm and the reception will start at 5:30pm. Our reception is about 20-30 minutes away from the church so I think its perfect timewise!
