We are supposed to have engagement pictures tomorrow. I was planning on wearing a skirt bc it WAS really warm but now its cold. And tomorrow its only going to be 63 & windy. I really wish we could just not do engagement pics and wait until after the wedding and take "married" pics. So i just don't even have to worry about them right now. I have TONS of stuff to do. Our package we got with our photograpger(who is also my hair dresser) says it comes with epics or bridal pics and we chose engagement. Would this be rude to ask her if we can wait until after the wedding so it will be warm, i won't have horrible roots(getting it done on Sat.) and Evan will have nice shoes by then AND he will be tan from the beach. What do you think? Will she be like uhhhh no i don't want to do that? I don't see why it'd be a problem but i just didn't know. We have cancelled e-pics once already bc of cold weather.

I would say talk to her about it. She may have denied other people service to fit in your engagement pictures. In that case it would be rude to cancel on her. But if shes fine with changing it, then I would say don't worry about it and do them after.

I agree, it wouldn't hurt to ask, just keep in mind she is running a business and you really aren't giving her much notice.

I agree with what other advice has been given. She may have turned down other clients as well because she has held your date which she would have lost $ on. It doesn't hurt to ask.

okay thanks. We had it for Monday but then had to change it for Thursday cause we thought it would be warmer, but it isn't going to be much warmer. So we made it for Thursay after we all got off of work, so i don't think she has any other pictures bc she does this on the side. But i guess I will just ask her and see what she says. Thanks!

I had brides ask to do this after the wedding lots of times. I usually just added more pics to the wedding order.
But it can't hurt to ask your photographer.

i asked her and she kinda thought i was crazy, lol. But the weather just isn't looking good for the rest of the week. So she said we will just play it by ear and if its nice one day we'll do it, if its not then we will wait. But see i just HATE playing stuff by ear. I hate not knowing an exact day and time.lol. Cause then i can't really make plans or anything. But if its not nice by next week I am waiting. Bc i do not want to have to mess with it the week of my wedding.
