I love seeing everyone's pictures, but please resize your photos before you post them. Like maybe no more wider than 600 pixels, taller isn't that much of a problem. When the photos are too big they throw off the whole page. Plus you have to scroll over to see it all.

Some of the newer digital cameras come with photo editing software. For those of you that don't have a photo editing program, try this free program -

PhotoResizer.exe (http://www.plushdesigns.net/PhotoResizer.exe)

It should work on a Windows machine at least ... I haven't used it myself but I hear good things about it ;)

If this doesn't work for you and you have no more than 2 or 3 pics you want to post, let me know and I will resize them for you.

If you upload your photos to photobucket, they'll also resize them for you automatically. THere are 4 or 5 different size options that they give you when you upload, and the link for it is in the upper right hand corner of the box where you choose your photos.

You just have to watch photobucket sometimes even if yo do resize when you post it, it posts in its original size! Most of the time it works pretty good mut not all the time.

When I upload into photobucket I click on the edit ubove the picture and then resoze adn it actualy has an option to resize for forums. I always do that one as that is where I post my pictures any way.

I hope you don't think I was singling you out. There are others that post pics too big for the board. I saw yours and a couple of others here and on other boards and that is what made me post this thread :)

I figured mine sparked the acutal post. It was a very big pic, I knew that when the thing was submitted.

sorry if any of mine are the cause too. I use photobucket as well, but I'm not very computer literate, LOL!

I wrote a hack to resize images so they fit into the post better. However it is a good idea to resize your large images so that others can load the page faster. ;)
