I still haven't gotten a florist. I live in a very small town. We have 3 florist. One florist, the most sought after, already has 2 weddings booked on our wedding day so he had to turn me down...understandable. The second florist, I've received flowers from twice and weren't really please with them. Both times, they had flowers that had dull, brown edges and they smelled really weird. They had tons of greenery and baby's breath and I'm not too fond of either of those. The 3rd florist, the gal is new. She's very sweet and she does tux rentals, too so we are going to do that plus rent some candelabrum and ferns from her for the ceremony, but it's been a almost a month and she hasn't gotten me a price quote yet! I've stopped by her shop and discussed what I wanted and she wrote down everything...she's shopping around wholesalers and then said she'd get with me on a price. She's called me to say she hasn't forgotten about me, but that she is still searching for a wholesaler. At this point, I still have no idea what my flower costs will be. I really didn't want to have to go outside of my town to get flowers but it looks likes I'm going to have to. Any ideas out there? Has anyone used internet sites like 1800flowers? I'm kind of scared to do that though. I'd really like a physcial store I can go into.
