I took the picture myself *hehe* I found the design on a tiney sticker in Florida on vacation several yrs ago. Now I see it all over, so I want to add to it one day.

I got it for my Daddy when he was sick in the hospital a few years ago. My sister has the same one. Lots of people think it is a sexual thing, but it is SO not. I am gonna add a flower above it and put 'Mom' above that to sort of match one my brother has.

Love love all of your tats! I especially love the footprint one. I got the meaning of it right away, it's very striking. The scorpion is too cute...I just love tats on the back of the neck for some reason.

I like the scorpian ok, I am just not all into the zodiac stuff anymore. I sort of wish I had something else there, but a cover up for this one would have to be quite large, so I will just keep it ;)

My brother has a tattoo on the side of his neck, he said it hurt pretty bad. This one didn't hurt much at all.

I hope to get another tattoo later this year.

I want a tattoo so bad, but I don't know what I want to have on my body for the rest of my life....its been a really hard decision for me on that. I'd love to see more peoples tattoos. I do know that when I get one, it will be on my lower back.

I have a purple rose on my shoulder. I will try to post a pic when I get home today. I am getting one sometime before the wedding and it will be this chinese symbol (which is my middle name) in the center of a sun or a sun and a moon. This will probably be a lower back tattoo.

I have an angel with a heart on my right shoulder, a vampire over my heart, names of pets (that have since passed on) around my belly button, and a tiger on my lower left abdomen. I want to get a panther on the other side of the tiger, but we'll see.

I really like the footprints cross tatoo, also. That's a beautiful meaning. I got a tattoo when I was 18. My best friend and I went together. It's a lavendar rose with some greenery around it and it's on the outside of my right ankle. It's faded quite a bit over the past 10 years and I'd like to get it touched up. My man's got two big tattoos on each upper arm. One is the DOB of his son and has a daddy bear cuddling with it's baby bear over it. Very sweet. The other arm is just another big bear. He likes bears incase you haven't noticed.:laugh: I try and post pictures of all.

I have one tattoo I got about 3 yrs ago now. It is on the back or my right shoulder. The guy went crazy with the colors and I love it. Sorry for the blurriness, my 7 yr took the picture for me.

The one I realy want is a Unicorn with wings on my lower back. But I am going to be very picky with this one ( when I can afford it that is ). I know what I want just have not seen a picture even close to it yet. I may have to have some one draw it for me.

You should take this idea to an artist and have them design something great. I like the idea, but it is a little plain for my tastes.

Right now I have 2 pieces that represent my faith, I plain on several more. I have devoted my right arm and leg to such symbols :)

It isn't all that bad, IMO at least. Sure, some are worse than others, but I guess you just have to really want it.

I wouldn't go with a design you saw somewhere else though, take your idea to an artist and have them make it uniquely yours :)

I have a celtic star on my lower back. My artist actually won an award for it because it's small but very detailed..

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and want to add onto it someday but I'm so worried that putting anything next it will mean it won't stand out as much!

I also want to get a gladious flower tattoo as well- that's when my late grandmother's birthday is as well it's when I was due to have my baby.

Yeah, sometimes custom tattoos cost more, but at least you won't have one someone else might have.

As for the needle thing; I get a little freaked about needles like in blood tests and such, but I can handle tattoos. I don't look, but I am not freaked by it. I think it is a mind over matter type thing; if you want it bad enough you can endure it.

And unless you get something big and detailed, it really isn't all that bad. It is slightly uncomfortable at best. I didn't have any feelings of pain until the big one on my back. But I just breathe and think og how awesome it will be when it is done :)

I have always heard the same. My artist said hand and feet tattoos tend to fade more too.

I have two and want another one.
I have a breast cancer ribbon with a daisy in the middle to honor my mom who had breast cancer and the daisy for me, so we are always together.

I also have flowers on my lower back, they are kinda big and weird looking. I got them when iw as 17 and really just wanted a tattoo I didn't care what it looked like. But I am going to try and fix it someday. the other one is on the inside of my right ankle.

I have 5. 2 on my lower back, 2 on my left ankle and one on my right shoulder blade.

My lower back has the raphael angel (from the famous sistine madonna painting) I LOVE angels. Below the angel is my daughter's name which is Angelica (told you I love angels...LOL)

The one on my shoulder blade is chinese writing that means "Queen" in English. It wasn't on the board when I went so I had to find it online so I think it's kinda unique.

My first tattoo ever is on my left ankle and it's of Garfield tap dancing. It was a sticker I found and I loved it because I used to be a dance teacher so I thought it was fitting. It's original because it was a sticker. The second one is above the garfield on the same ankle and it's actually a cover up. Originally, it was my daughters fathers name but now it's 2 cherries. It's the cutest thing ever. The girl who did that one for me just freelanced it right on my skin, she's been in tons of tattoo magazines and has done alot of celebrity tattoos. She's awesome!

My fiance has over 30 tattoos, the more the merrier! :)

He has quotes from the bible, a cartoon version of the virgin mary, 2 different NY Yankees tats, Atilla the Hun, his grandmothers name on his chest, the word GUILTY across his back, his name with a dragon, his nickname on his neck, I can keep going but it will take forever...LOL My favorite tat of his is Jason from friday the 13th on his right arm. It takes up basically the full arm, it's all in black and gray shading. It's really nice and very realistic! I have to get some pics for you guys!

Thanks...I drew my own design, took it to the tattoo artist and she just traced what I brought her so an "original" I guess.

I only have one so I can't really compare although a girl that work there who had a ton of tattoos said the one on her foot was the most painful.

I was SO scared I thought I was going to throw up but as soon as she started I was like...That's it?-so everyone got a kick out of that. The worst part was closest to the outside...that pinched like nobodys business-whoa!

But weblady...that is what they told me too, which was part of why I was so scared. They said we don't garuntee hands and feet. The way the skin is it could turn into a big blob or mess from bleeding together and I'll have to get it re-done more often than other places on your body. But I haven't had any trouble and that was the only place I wanted it so I took the chance.

Kev and I are going to get them soon. If the TV show takes us they want us to get them on TV together, but if not we're gonna go just before the wedding. Kev has his all drawn out. He's going to be getting what looks like a syringe but made up of car parts (ir: spark plug, piston and connecting rod and so on.) It's really cool. I'm going to be getting a vilgvisir on my back which is the Viking compass. We were goignt o get the same thing but we couldn't decide. We will probably get something else that day too liek really small. I was thinking an "Onk" which is the Egyptian cross meaning eternity. We shall see though.
