Me and my fiance eould like to get married at Bellingrath Gardens........What do ya'll think about that? How would to go about the decor and what kind of theme would be fitting? Thanks 4 the input:

If its a garden...then the less the better. You dont want to take away from the effect of the garden and the decorations Mother Nature is providing. I would just go with the very basics.

Check with the venue. I know I looked at our local gardens and conservatories. They all had very strict guidelines when it came to what we were allowed to bring in and how much time you had to set up and take down.

For a garden? Nothing but chairs and MAYBE an arch way. Gardens are naturally beautiful so you won't need anything to decorate it.

Will you be having your reception there too or just the ceremony? I agree with the other girls you shouldn't need to do any decorations, mother nature can do that for you. But if you have your reception somewhere else you could do a garden theme. or any theme really. Did you have anything in mind that you want to bounce off us? Colors you like?
