Let me start by sayign I am waiting for my husband to get home from work with Subs from there. He works at D'Angelos. He called to let me know he is on his way home. He works an hour away but has to stop off in the local shop to drop some thigns off. So he will be bringing home food fromt hat one.
I am having ham and provalone, lettuce, pickels, and exta mayo. The kids get their favorites, one has ham and cheese the other has tuna.

I think I started one like this right before you did lol, so I just deleted what I posted ;).
Well a little while ago, Chris made salmon patties. With 1 egg, a package of salmon, and cracker crumbs. We'll probably make something later too, I swear we eat like 4 or 5 meals a day! Lol.

ya'll are my inspiration. I never have anything planned! Lots of times we have the most random things. Last night we had frozed breaded chicken(it was good!) and toast, lol and champagne! We didn't have anything that went with chicken..haha! I swear Evan eats about 8 meals a day! He has 2 dinners. but he is still skinny. He tries to gain weight and I TRY to lose but its so hard living with him! I m like 'can you please eat that in the other room!' Oh and he would just die if he didn't have a dessert.

Last night I made a Taco Ring. It is basically taco meat wrapped in crescent roll dough, topped with cheese and served with sour cream :)

Chicken Lips are popular in our area. They're just like chicken strips without the breading, and they have this hot/spicy sauce over them. They are served with blue cheese dressing or ranch. Chris loves them, I don't eat them, maybe just 2 bites.

I made sort of a mexican casserole tonight.
I mixed cooked white rice, browned ground beef, salsa, corn, and black beans. Then serve with flour tortillas and top with sour cream and cheese.
I probably cooked too much food tonight. I just kept on adding this and that and this and that!
It was a vegetable curry dish w/ onion, garlic, bell pepper, green beans, cauliflower, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, peas, carrots, corn, Soyrizo, unsweetened coconut, cilantro, cayenne pepper, lots of curry powder, and plain yogurt to make it creamy. Served over brown & wild rice.
See what I mean??? I was just like well, this would be good in there, etc. It was overflowing the pan. lol. Mmmm it was so much better than any I've had at a restaurant though.

I just saw Brandi's post about what to make for dinner and I am sitting here smelling mine. I so can not wait to eat it. My husband had today off so he has a roast in the oven. Cooked with carrots and potatoes. We had it for Easter dinner and I ate ever last bit as left overs. And the doc says I need more iron so red meat it is. I smell it and am so waiting to dive in.

Those of you that read the "Help me with dinner" thread saw that I am making a Mexican lasagna tonight.
The recipe is easy; you just brown your ground beef and add a little taco sauce and salsa to taste. Then layer tortilla shells with the meat mixture and shredded cheese. Top with enchilada sauce and more cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 mins :)
I'm so looking forward to trying out a new recipe tonight. I got some truffle oil as a gift and I can't wait to use it. I found a really good looking recipe in this month's Vegetarian Times for a creamy puree of leeks & cannellini beans topped with sauteed wild mushrooms. You drizzle it with just a touch of truffle oil. I'm probably going to make some simple roasted carrots to go with it. Maybe I'll buy some wine and just have a nice quiet dinner by myself!

That sounds really good!! I'll have to give it a try sometime.
Tonight is either left over tacos or some kind of chicken on the gril and garlic baby red skin potatoes.

I'm heating up some meatballs that we have, and throwing them in a pan with some pasta and sauce. Don't realy care to do much more. And, to be honest, I doubt I'll even eat the meatballs. Not really in the mood for it, but don't have anything else right now! :)

We had some garlic french fries this past weekend at a festival. OMG I think that may have been one of the best things I've ever eaten!
Oh, by the way I'm so sorry that you have a migraine. :bbcry:

I made butter chicken and basmati rice tonight. I've been craving it for a few weeks, so... why not? LOL.
We're having baked falafel, hummus, tzatziki sauce, broiled parmesan zucchini, & Greek salad. The baked falafel is a new recipe so I don't know how it's going to turn out. Usually falafel is fried so hopefully I can pull off this healthier version. (crosses fingers!)

I made chicken quesadillas last night. I got out my skillet and grilled up some flour tortillas with cheese and chicken. Then served with salsa and sour cream.
Tonight I think I am gonna make cajun chicken alfredo. Grilled chicken with cajun seasoning served atop cooked noodles with store bought alfredo sauce. I may make some steamed broccoli to go with it too.
