Oooo! Wedding portraits before the wedding. That way you get to wear your dress more often. Smart lady. BTW I LOVE the very first picture -- looks like an ad for a wedding magazine. KWIM?

yeah he and i both didn't mind that he'd see me in the wedding dress before the actual day, so it worked out fine cuz then we'd have our pictures enlarged and displayed on our actual day!

Hi everyone, thanks for the comments. Many people down here take pics before the wedding so that they can display the portraits at the reception :) It takes a lot of stress away from rushing to take pictures during that day too!

i can see where it would do this for everyone. not to mention not having to make the reception party and guests have to wait on things to start. very good idea. i wish i would have done this as well.

Your photographer is amazing! May I ask who you are using? I, too wanted to take pix b4 the wedding but my FH thinks it is bad luck. I am not that supersticious though!

He and his assistant took a total of over 1,400 pictures at our session alone!!!! sifting through all those pics was hard work!!! I found him b/c he did a photoshoot at my old university for a calendar shoot and I saw the pics from the shoot and loved the pics. And 6 years later, I looked him up after I got engaged and booked him! And we ended up shooting at the same location!
