Please help upload pictures

hello
every time i try to upload a picture, it keeps coming up as an attachment. It tookme a few days to finally resize them so it can fit on this site and they keep coming up as attachment. example below. what am I doing wrong?

Did you upload it to Photobucket first? and then copy and paste the link after clicking that little button that looks like a picture of a mountain? Every once in a while it does that to me (just inserts the link) But most of the time it works from Photobucket

You can upload an image as an attachement then use www.TinyURL.com to resize the long url and paste the new one in the tags. Or you can upload images to Photobucket or Flicker or somewhere like that and do the same with the URL there.
