I'm itaian and traditionally the groom wears white, should I shrik the tradition or not? I figured adding a color vest under the jacket would be a good comprimise? What'd ya'll think?
Thanks:

It depends on what you want. I personally am not a fan of a white tuxedo even on a groom. But that is me. My groom and his party are all wearing black tuxes with black bow ties and black vests. If you want a black tux and want your groom to stand out a bit more you could buy him in a white tie and vest and the groomsmen in either black or the wedding's main color for their tie and vests. If you want the white tuxedo I have seen it both ways, with all white and white with colored accesories. Either way looks fine. I would talk to your groom about what he wants. He might have some ideas on his own. If not, head out to a local tux shop and ask to look at their catalogs to get some ideas.

Yes, that is a personal call. I personally would love to see my guy in the white tux with the black pinstripes, but I don't think he wants anything to do with it:( That's okay. Some people believe the bride should be the only one in white, but I say there is no right or wrong answer. It is a personal choice.
