Hee, Hee. Sorry, we made a deal with my dad that if we paid for the entire wedding by ourselves, he would cover the honeymoon! IT was the only way we could have done it!

For a week in January, we're staying on the coast of Mexico in Puerto Vallarta. It's the perfect blend of real Mexican culture and fun tourism for us. We are SO excited.

Chad's brother & SIL spent 3 weeks in Europe & then 1 week in Mexico visiting her family who couldn't come to the wedding. They're the ones who made our honeymoon possible by giving us a week of their timeshare and letting us pick which location in Mexico we wanted to go. I guess they know the importance of a good honeymoon huh?!!

We are going on a 4 day cruise to Cozumel. I've been on cruises before, but this time we have a room with a balcony!

I actually don't think we are going anywhere. Things have come up and have made it so that we are completely footing the bill on the wedding (Which both my mother and father said they would help...and don't get me wrong, I'm not being ungrateful but if I'd known that they were both going to back out, we would have saved a little more or set the date a little later so that we had more time to save...) that we can't afford to go anywhere. We may register for a cruise, but will probably just stay the night in one of the hotels I work for here in Daytona. We'll save for a honeymoon at a later date.

We're going for 7 days 6 nights in Ochos Rios, Jamaica at the Sandals Grande Ochos Rios Resort. We wanted something all-inclusive and something we didnt have to worry about (much like a cruise). I have pics and description in my journal.

DH and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon. We stopped at Key West, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas.

It was our first and probably last cruise. We had a good time, but it wasn't something we are planning to do again. I guess we are just not cruise people ;)

Derek and I are going to the northern Georgia mountains at a place called Big Canoe. We are staying for a week in a cabin. There's hiking trails with water falls and antique shopping and a winery near by. Very excited! Although, we probably won't leave the cabin too much....

Late September/early Octbober will be a nice time to enjoy the mountains we thought.
