I can imagine!! lol...our site co-ordinator called us and we had to go to their office to see ours! She's unlucky because I had a few beefs with them, they would have been better off to have mailed it to me!! :)

Glad you had a great trip and glad to see your home safe and sound! I knew you'd stick around, you helped me plan my wedding last year and I'd be so sad if you took off right away!! We have all built friendships over our "common battle" of planning weddings! It would be a shame if you weren't around anymore. :)

No the only thing our venue required was $1000 as a deposit. Everything else was to be paid after the event. No worries for them though, they have all of our ccc information and ways to find us since we are also members of the club.

Thanks, I got home Friday night. I can't wait for Sean to go to work on Monday because with the exception of going to the bathroom and showering I haven't had a solid moment alone since the Thursday before the wedding.

Well my mom and I went to Target yesterday afternoon and went through all 399 pictures that our friends took and emailed to us thus far. That is a lot of pictures. I think the photo lady wanted to ban us because we tied up her picture maker for about 2 hours. But as of right now I have about 300 pictures of my wedding along with a lovely album to put them in. So I can work on that this week after I get the house back in order but before I do the thank you notes.

I took my flowers to get preserved. In three months I will have them back, freeze dried, pressed, and framed.

I called my florist and he rcommened someone that he worked with. I suggest you start there. If your florist doesn't know anyone talk with your site coordinator or even someone at the bridal shop you got your dress at. If not look in the yellow pages under floral preseveration. Also, A week is about the cut off point so you will want to get your flowers there before hand. I got mine in just in time. And until you can get them there, keep them in water (or the floral foam wet) and in the refridgerator. DO NOT FREEZE THEM!

I used Kathy's Keepsakes in Canonsburg. Here is a link to her advertisement on *******. My florist here in PIttsbrugh recommended her highly. When we met with her today she seemed very nice to work with. She is even going to order some fresh stephanotis at no extra cost to me to tuck in my bouquet because mine had gone south already.

Finally some freakin' alone time. I haven't had a minute to myself since the THursday before the wedding. Sean left for work a little bit ago. I'm done with work until August. So until then I guess I get to play Donna Reed. YUCK! I wonder how long it will take me to snap? I know some of you are all about being the stay at home wife/mom but it isn't for me. Hopefully I can get the house back under control though today. It is a total wreck. Housekeeping got pushed aside the last month or so for the wedding. It looks like a bomb went off in here. I can't stand it anymore. I have just been too busy and too tired to care up to this point. But, that is as far into housewife mode as I will venture. If he is expecting a pot roast on the table and a cake to be pulled from the oven already frosted, he is in for a shock.

My mom goes in for her heart surgery on Wednesday. They are starting with a heart cath and if they can fix the issue with that, then great, if not they are taking her straight in for open heart surgery to get the problem (that has yet to be discovered) solved.

Lacey-enjoy your alone time...we all know that you have earned some down time!! As for the house...I am sure that you will get it all in order soon enough. Your comment about the cake soming out of the oven already frosted is hilarious..because that is what it seemed like they did on those shows. I ma sure that you will find a way to busy yourself through the summer. Tha luandry is already done. Ruffles and Ellie are getting nervous because I keep eyeing them up for a bath.

As for taking all day to cook. I got a Martha Stewart cookbook a few years ago for Christmas from my mother who has made it her life's duty to domesticate me. Anyway Sean's sisters and I decided to make dinner for us along with Sean and Kelly's then fiance one summer afternoon. So we go tot he grocery store and blow like $90 to buy all the ingredients for this meal. I think it was like fajitas, Spanish rice, and some grilled fruit dessert thing. That $90 did not include the case of Corona we got at the beer distributor either. It took us all day literally to get this **** made and on the table. Frankly it tasted ok but not $90 and 5 hours worth of work good. That excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners was my last all day cooking adventure.

The photographer just emailed me in response to my question on how long it will take to get my pictures back. His response was in 10 days. Now I just have to figure out is that 10 days from the wedding which will be like 2 days from today or 10 days from today which puts us i the middle of the month. Oh the questions!

Oh my GOD! I just got bored and ran all the numbers for the wedding including my rings and our honeymoon. I had no idea that I spent that much money. Granted I am pretty good at spending money. But I didn't know I was that good. 99% of it was already paid in full, we just owe for teh reception. The bill came when we got home from our honeymoon. I can't believe we spent that much on one day. (Well several I added the honeymoon in there too) I'm glad to do my part to help the economy but ****!

He didn't have the photo cd ready so I should be getting that in the mail tomorrow. Then I'll post them. We watched our wedding video last night. It was fabulous. I loved seeing everyone having such a good time.

Well my dad FINALLY got me the last two addresses I needed from his military friends that came to the wedding last minute. I love that they came in and I love that they got us such generous gifts, considering I didn't meet them until the reception. (I knew when I was sending all those care packages to Afghanistan it would pay off in the long run.) I'm just glad that I can finally get all of my thank you notes done. We also just got more wedding gifts last night too, a vodka set and a cubist style martini set. Both are pretty cool. So I can get that thank you out as well.

Thank you Ellen! I'm glad you like it all. I got the pomander/kissing balls because the girls weren't allowed to throw petal and I was afraid a bouquet would be too hard for Jillie to hold. She is only 3. I liked that they had little ribbon handles. As for the bm dresses, I just wanted something they could wear again.

Thank you. If your heart is set on enjoying the chocolate fountain, don't do it. My guests all LOVED the chocolate fountain. I wasn't able to get with 15 feet of it because everyone was terrified it would drip on my dress. I could barely get into the room that it was set up in and someone was stopping me and pulling me out.

Thank you so much Kelli. I think 99% of the weddings that I have gone to have been beautiful. The other 1% weren't bad but you just knew in your heart those two particular people shouldn't be doing it when they were. As long as you have two people who care about each other and want to work on being togheter for a very long time, it doesn't matter when the wedding is, what type of wedding they have, how big or little the budget is, what the colors or the themes are. It will be perfect no matter what.

Nicholas grandmother said that she had never seen such a beautiful ceremony. And I had so much fun with all the important people that I wanted there were there. It is how you make it and you make it beautiful just because it is what you want.

Naomi, thank you. Our wedding was a fabulous dream come true. I had more fun then I ever thought possible.

As for the shoes, I got them at the store where my mom got her dress. They were just white dyeable shoes. I had them dyed pink and replaces the pink ribbon on the back with black ribbon.

The woman who was preserving my flowers called. THey are done. I am going to schedule a time to pick them up. I also FINALLY got the proofs back tot he photographer. So, in a few weeks my wedding will offically be over. It is really going to be a bitter sweet moment.

I used Kathy's Keepsakes in McMurray to preserve mine. I haven't seen them yet but she said they look fabulous. With the frame and that matting I think it is coming to around $350.

She did a nice job except my lily of the valley is missing. I am calling tomorrow about that. If you want to do it, you need to arrainge it before hand. The sooner you get the floawers there the better. They will also be able to tell you how to store the flowers until you can get them there.
