Andrew and I met in May of 2003. We went on vacation to Disney World in March of this year (I had never been). At the end of the night when they started the fireworks, we were sitting in front of Cinderella's Castle. Jiminy Cricket was the narrator and he told everyone to make a wish. Andrew leaned over and told me to make a wish (To myself, I wished that he would ask me to marry him because I had hoped he would ask me while we were at Disney). Then Jiminy said something like if you wish hard enough, anyone's wish could come true. That's when Andrew got on his knee and pulled out a ring box and asked me to marry him. I was completely shocked! (His brother and SIL were with us and took pictures. They make fun of me because the only thing I could say was Are you serious? over and over, and then obviously, yes!! :D )

Awwwwww.....thats soooo sweet! See wishes do come true. But dont feel bad, they made fun of me too. My FH and his mother had hid my ring under a strawberry on a piece of my birthday cake. I picked the starwberry up and started eating it, totally clueless that my ring was sticking up out of the cake. It had to be pointed out to me!

Awwww! That does sound sweet. Fortunately, I can't be made fun of, but that means we also don't have pics.

We do get a good laugh out of his mother's reaction. We came upstairs to say goodbye and Jason's just sitting there, looking at my hand. His mother looks down and then jumps up and whirls around. OH MY GOD THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!! Then I was lost to his mother, sister, and three nieces while his dad sat there and gave him the joking are you sure you want to do this speech. It was funny.

My dream engagment included watching the fireworkds at Cinderella's castle at the magic kingdom. It has always been one of my favorite places in the entire world. It's just so magical there!
