Hey everyone,
I am Sara. I am 20 years old. I am engaged to a wonderful man named Greg. Our wedding date is May 17th, 2009.

I know it seems like 2009 is far away but we want to graduate from college and have a steady jobs when we get married.

I haven't really started looking at anything other than wedding dresses (b/c I want to give myself enough time to find the right one) but I just saw this site on google and decided to join.

I look foward to talking with all of you.

Hi Sara! Welcome to One Wed! Glad that you found us! Congrats on your engagement! Nothing wrong with a long engagement this will allow the two of you to take care of some important things and allow plenty of time to plan for the big day. Glad to have you here!!!

Welcome to onewed. I agree with Jonelle I mean my engagement will be 2 1/2 yrs long before we get married.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a long engagement. FH and I will have been planning for 1 1/2 years on our wedding day. It will go by fast! :)

hi sara! sounds like we're sort of in the same boat--i'm 19 (not engaged...yet...but soon!) and in college and we're waiting til we get finished school too.
i'm new to the boards too and i found it the same way!
good luck planning your wedding...and with all that waiting--it'll go by fast though!
