Ok the ones with the hearts.......1st set on 2nd post.....where did you find them? FH likes them and if we can order them I think we are going to. I just need to know if they were made or if I can buy them like that. Those are exactly what I want.

There are a couple of sites that sell them, but I think this is the cheapest place:

Ok Becky......Thank you so very much for posting that link!!!!!!!! We love those and the ones we found were $35. I thought I was going to have to go with these other one that were alot cheaper. They had hearts too but not near as pretty. I really like those......I wont be making them.....FH said I should buy these if its what I want and oh is it ever!!!!!!

Yeah I was surprised to see them that cheap. Everywhere else they were 30 bucks for the same quantity! I don't blame you for not making them when you can get them for that price :D Good deal!!

I would still spray the insides with something to make it slightly flame retardent. I got the luminaras that almost set my mom's yard on fire at the dollar store...bad idea. I've also heard the suggestion to use tea lights as the flames aren't as big.

The ones we want (and shipping on them is less than $4 by the way)
say they ARE flame retardant but we are going to coat the insides anyway plus we are using the tea lights in them too.

At the army/navy supply, we sold glowsticks for pretty affordable prices. I read soemwhere that someone was thinking of using them instead of candles. They come in all sorts of colors.. I think that the blue or purple would be especially pretty.

I had thought about it, but what would we do with 25 lit glow sticks after the ceremony? That was my question! With the tea lights (which I already have) we can blow them out and use them again.

Yes Carrie those colors would be pretty!

Hey Cindy. When I was at the craft stores yesterday they had blank luminaries. They were 10 for $3.99 and then you could get one of those heart hole punch things. Just an idea. I know you are planning on buying them but I think you can make them cheap(almost 1/2 price!!) and it sounds easy to do.

How much were the heart shaped punch things? If I had to spend a lot on one (or 2 for different sizes) then it wouldnt be saving money. I cant think that I would be using it very often.

Well, the glowsticks only last overnight. So, I would probably send them home with the kids that come. But, tealights have that pretty flickery effect.

Ah I never even thought to look how much they were. Sorry. I doubt they would be too much though.

Thats where Ive had to be careful. Im trying to DIY on a lot of things but I have run across a few things that are a lot cheaper to buy than to make.
I also have to look at what I already have on my DIY plate and figure out if I can fit anymore projects in.
