I love them, but my hair is shoulder length and so its way too short for most of them.

I haven't decided if I should wear my hair up or down. I may have to wear it up at our ceremony cause I don't think my hair will look very good after a 2 hour hike if I leave it down. I may wear it up for the ceremony and then down for the reception. I will have 4-5 hours in between the ceremony and reception, enough time to shower and get last minute things ready.
This is the style my hair is right now. This length too.

Well my FH likes mine down and when I wear it wavy. In the last few years my hair has gotten curly. I usually try to wear it straight (after years of having straight hair and hating it.....go figure!) but it easier to do it wavy, and I dont have to worry with it as much.

My hair is reletively long and Jason loves it down. I have to wear some of it up to put my veil in. I would like it to be slightly curly, but it doesn't hold curl very well. I'll see what my stylist can do. :)

Nice choices ladies. I have shoulder length hair that I cannot stand to have touch me. So I wear it up and back all the time. I know it would drive me uts on my wedding day. Here is what I found so far that I like. It is just a matter of figuring out what I should do.

Well, it depends on your dress, whether or not your wearing a veil, how you'd like to wear your hair, whether or not your an updo or down person. I wouldn't be having any of it up at all if I didn't need something to put the veil in. That's kind of a personal thing to decide.

I would love my hair up, but, I have waist length hair..not sure I'd work....Yes i am wearing a veil....I trust ya'lls opininon that the reason i was asking ya'lls opininion on the hairstyle........I love input when it comes to what to do about appearence.....Thanx for your input Kelli........;)

Ok.To be honest, yes it is beautiful...Not quite sure it'd work w/ a veil though......Looks pretty difficult to put a veil and headpiece w/........(If your wearing a headpiece that is)......Still it is upto you...:bbsmile:

Talk to your stylist...that's what I'm going to do. I really like one hair do, but I'm not sure how it's going to look with a veil, so we're going to play around with it a bit. That's what the practice do is for! :)

Rainbow! That's really beautiful! I wish my hair held curl that well. I'm going to head to the stylist not too long after Christmas to have them play around and see what they can do with me (By then I should be able to pay for the veil so I can take it with me and the hairdo itself...lol). I have a basis to go from and I figured if they style hair for a living, they can help me come up with something that I really really like.

These are the styles i like. I want something that will be kinda soft and flowy arround my face cause i always think i look bald when i have my hair straight back in a pony tail in pictures.

OVAL SHAPED FACE:

This is considered the ideal face shape because it has the perfect balance and form according to hairstylists. Any style can be worn with the oval shaped face. Long, short, blunt, layered, straight or curly. To emphasize eyes, bangs can be added. To balance your nose in profile view, wear hair off of the forehead. Whatever hair style or texture, wavy, curly or straight, make your hair work for you.

The main thing you must remember is draw attention to your best features. For example, if you have a fairly hair nose, hair stylists recommend placing the bulk of the hair above the forehead – adding volume at the top rather than a sleek, pulled back style.

SQUARE SHAPED FACE:

To soften the jaw line of a square shaped face, direct soft wavy bangs over your temples. If you have long hair, it should fall past your shoulders. For shorter styles, keep the hair style round and soft with height at the crown. Up-do styles or ponytails should always be accompanied by wisps of hair falling around the face. Remember make your hair a part of your style. It is also recommended that the hair be parted on the side to decrease the "squareness" of the face. Hair worn longer, fuller or wavier are great style options.

HEART SHAPED FACE:

The main goal is to make a heart shaped face appear oval while also making the illusion of lift. Hair should sweep the sides of the face while creating height at the crown. Whether one chooses bangs or not, either would be ideal for this shaped face. It’s recommended that some of the hair be swept behind the ears to slightly frame the chin to add an oval dimension.

ROUND SHAPED FACE:

The goal of a round face shape is similar to a heart shaped face. The main goal is to create the illusion of an oval appearance. Hair should be kept close to the sides of the face while the crown requires height. You want to "lift" the facial features. Make sure some hair is sweeping below the chin.

Accent your best features. For example; if hair is brushed back off the forehead or to the side, this creates the illusion of a longer face, drawing attention to the eyes. If you want a round face to appear slimmer you would make sure hair is showing below the chin, softly hugging the neck.

Remember, draw attention to your best features or enhance your best features by making tiny style changes. This can make a big difference in your overall look.
