I love the whole "smudgy" look of pic #2, but i have greens eyes, so i have to stick with browns and ivories on my eyes or it doesnt look right.

I'm not sure. I just saw the pic and copied the image location.. I know the picture is a little...eeh, I just like the makeup. I'll crop the face and re-post it in the morning!

Sorry! Didn't want to offend anyone!

Those are really beautiful! I don't know what I'm going to do for my makeup...I don't really wear it all that often, so I'll probably go with something very natural. Mama's paying to have me spend the morning with hair, nails, and make-up artists or else I'd be doing my makeup myself.

I wasnt offended either......I was just curious. I was able to look more closely when I got home. Was kinda scared to at work. That type of stuff doesnt bother me but was scared my boss wouldnt understand I was looking at makeup.

The link Carlos Honey posted on the opening post. But I think she took it off. It wasnt bad, but for some people it might have been perceived that way. (Like my very old fashioned boss)

I love her hair too! Now I understand what the issue was...lol. Ya I'd be worried about opening that at work too. Thanks for the idea though; I don't want to know how you ended up in there though...lol.

When I went in to have a nosy at the link it some of the web site was "advertising" girls from New Zealand esp in Christchurch. Now I'm not sure if it did the same for everyone else but if it did I would like to say that I am not one of them  , but I wish I had a body like them. :)

I am the same way. I never where make up. Once in a great while I put on some lipstick.....then wipe it off!! LOL! If I had my makeup done for the wedding I am afraid I wouldn't look natural. Maybe I could get it done really lightly so it's not real noticable.

That's what I'm thinking Becky. Go in there and tell whoever's doing it that I want something that looks VERY natural. A little light pink lipstick, a tiny bit of blush and some very natural looking eyeshadow. I'm going to go test a place that puts on eyelashes to see how they look and stuff, but that's about as far out as I'm going. (And the only reason that I'm doing that is because I don't have many of my own due to past health problems.)

I thought I'd put this in here since it kind of fits. I got this out of a Bride magazine I rented:

Be a Shimmer Winner

DO apply gel and cream shimmers to the shoulders and decolletage 20 to 30 minutes before dressing.
DON'T use body shimmer during the day unless you're tanned.
DO avoid powder shimmer on lines or creases-it settles in, accentuating flaws.
DON'T go for that '70s disco look; choose just one facial feature for a pearly polish.
DO try a touch of shimmer shadow (stick with neutral shades) on your eyes.

I don't know if anyone else is planning on it, but "It's Perfume Oil" makes 'Shimmer Lotion' that provides a very light shimmer and best of all, you can pick whatever scent you want (they have bzillions of them). I'm getting a bottle to put in each one of my bm's gifts so that they can wear it and I'm going to wear it too. It's not gold shimmer, so it doesn't show as much in the day time, so I don't have to worry about being tan and what not. It's a very light irridescent shimmer and the scents are DIVINE! They don't have a website that I can find, but if you google it, it will give you the store number to the one in Great Lakes Crossing (a great big mall in Michigan--exactly like Grapevine Mills, Cindy) and you can have them send you their little pamphlet if your interested.

That's cool! I'll check out the shimmer scent. I love using oil for perfume because it lasts so long!

For anyone using oils for the first time, beware! Every oil smells different on everyone due to body chemistry. I've smelled great scents in the bottle, and once I wore it, it mutated into something too sweet that made me nauseous. Oh, and oils don't wash off easily, so be sure to test it well in advance.
