Lol my DH used to get up at like five o'clock in teh morning to watch Formula 1 , the minute I came along I started bashing racing and he hasn't watched it since! I feel a little bad but I'm happy I don't have to watch racing...I'd rather watch hockey or something.

I am not a race fan but my husband is a HUGE race fan. He like Jr, that is his favorite but he likes others as well. He was hoping Mark Martin would win. But he was happy Kevin Harvik won. ( I even know their names OMG hlep me lol ) I napped for most of the race on the couch. But I have to say that it was a good race. Crazy, 5 cautions a red flag and a pit crew guy gettign hit. Crazy wrecks. I am glad I watched it with him. But I am also glad that he will be recording all other races on our DVR as he works every Sunday. He made sure he had this one off.

wow, what a race last night..I'm happy for Kevin Harvick but it would have been great to see mark martin get his first Datona win yesterday both for him and his car owner.
I am a die hard JR. fan but I think DEI needs to find two better drivers to make DEI something more and give JR. some stonger teammates to work with. Martin Truex JR. would not draft with JR most of the race. Personally, I don't think Truex Jr was much of a teammate yesterday and he really ticked me off! JR. needed some drafting help and it seem Truex just was avoiding him on the track and avoiding to help him!
Poor Smoke. I'm not much of a Smoke fan but I do like his racing style. He's the closest you'll ever get to a Dale Sr. He's also good friends with Dale Jr. I felt so bad for him finally getting to the front, taking the lead, and then getting loose and then the bush brother getting into him and wrecking.
All in all it was a great race. I'm going to both Richmond races, Both Dover races, and both Pocono races this year!! I can't wait!!!

I took the day off from work to watch the races with my DH and ended up falling asleep with about 95 laps to go. Ughhh really mad at myself for doing so. But I watched all the recaps on the computer and of course the news. Sad Martin didn't win it finally. Really sad to see jr. wreck since he is my fav. But so glad the season is finally here.
