I have already posted this in my journal, but I thought I'd post it here as well, since it is my DIY project (one among many! This is the big scary one though!)
This is my final design for my invites. It is basically a folder with small insert cards in the right side. It will be folded in half. I designed the heart logo in Illustrator. The rest of the invite was designed and layed out in InDesign. The paper I am using is a cover stock, 80# crushed leaf sparkle paper (basically it is really heavy duty paper with bits of silver sparkles in it). Wherever I have the color gray in the image, the paper will be a silver sparkle, and wherever the design is red will be the red sparkle paper. I should be able to get them printed sometime next week, so I will post a picture once I get one put together. Oh, and the envelopes are going to be transparent, so you will see the red folder through the envelope.
Let me explain the actual invitation part. I am going to print the collage of photos of Cody and I onto white paper. The photos will be printed with black ink. Then over that, we will have the invite text printed with black ink onto vellum paper. To join the image paper to the vellum, we will use a ribbon (kind of like how the small image is). The the image paper will then be glued to the red folder.

This is the bow I was talking about:

Here is the Reception card and the Direction Card:

Here is the RSVP card. I designed it so that it can be mailed as a postcard. Postcard stamps are a lot cheaper than normal stamps. Plus, I don't have to supply an envelope if I send them as postcards. The first image is the back, the other is the front side:
