My name is Toni and my finaces name is Bobby, he asked me to marry him on Valentine's Day. It was so sweet. We had been looking at rings that day, we've been talking about it for months now. But we got back to the house and we were eating those candy hearts with writing on it and there was one that said marry me and he gave it to me but he was just joking around then and I knew he was cuz he has said time and time again that he wanted to take me to dinner and ask me with a ring. That afternoon we were cleaning my room (I stay with my parents right now cuz he's a truck driver and I dont want to stay over night by myself with a 2 month old) and we were talking about and how he has asked his previous girlfriends and I had said it would be really sweet if he had asked me with the candy heart and been serious about it. Well later that night I was putting our son down to sleep and he said "give me your ring, it's dirty" and I was thinking anything of it so I gave it to him, it had been a while since I cleaned it. I went to turn the light off so Robert could sleep better and Bobby told me to turn the light back on and I did and he came over to me and handed me another candy heart that said marry me and he got down on one knee and I was like are you serious and he said yes and I was like are you serious and he said "yes, will you marry me?" and of course I had said yes. We are planning a wedding for next spring, give him time to get a divorce (they've been separated for a while now, just don't have the money to get it, but they're going to spilt up the cost) and me time to plan him get money to afford my ring and wedding. So we still need to figure out a good day. We both want to get married at the beach, so at least we both agree on that. I have been so happy since then and I can't to start the planning process, although it will be hard with him gone 2 weeks at a time and only home for like 2-4 days a month.
