I am still not sure myself. I love this look:

I think these are so pretty too. I don't think I would like them as much without the veil though

But I also thought about just doing one of those headband things. Like this one:

I love this style too:

Many headpieces have detachable veils. That way you can have the traditional look of the veil, yet still be able to take it off later if you want, and not mess up your hair.

I won't be having a headpiece...just the veil and only for the ceremony. I'm a traditionalist in the sense that I want the veil over my face until the officiant says "You may now kiss the bride." I've always wanted it that way.

I plan on having a veil for the ceremony. Weather it lasts all night or not is another question. I plan to make my own since i can not bare to pay $150+ for one. It should be fairly easy to take out if we use one of the comb things. Also, if i make it it will be exactly what I want. There are so many out there that at too much.

I bought a tira at an acccessorie store in the mall. It cost $30 rather then the $150+ that they wanted at the Bridal Boutiques.

Just because it's a tradition, doesen't mean you are obligated to do it. Plus, you can always take it out after the pictures. It could be a pain when you're having dinner.

I'm not doing the veil, but that's mostly because it's absolutley not me. I'm going to do my hair like this:

I think it looks very pretty, without making me feel weird.

That is very pretty! I've been looking all over at different hair styles and I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do. I think I'm just going to say I want it half up-half down and let my stylist play around for awhile during the test run. We'll see where it goes from there...

the whole flowers in the hair thing i really like! especially the 4th pic (hmmm....) i think i'm going to play around a bit and chat to my hair stylist. i think the whole walking down the aisle with the veil and having for the ceremony would be nice... then it'd come off like a shot :D

ps. how do you post the pics? (i'm kinda new to this :) )

Im doing the flowers in my hair too. With this not being my first marriage and the fact that we already live together, the whole idea of "hiding" myself from him seems silly.
If anyone knows a good website where they have pics of women with flowers in their hair Id appreciate it if youd post it. I have an idea of what I want, and know Ive seen it somewhere, but havent found a pic yet. Plus, I really havent seen that many.

First, www.*******.com and www.weddingchannel.com both have big hair style sections with lots of pictures.

Secondly, I am wearing a tiara and veil. But, I won't be covering my face with the veil. I have never liked that idea. And, since my veil is a cathedral length on, I will be taking it off after the ceremony and pictures. I also have a neck/back injury that the weight of a long crystal covered veil might aggrevate.

Do you like any of these?

I do like them Becky. Some of them my hair might be too short for. I might could pull off the 1st 2 (or are they the same?)

I don't think they are the same. They do look a little alike though.

You know what is funny. I hadn't even considered putting flowers in my hair, but I really love those first two pictures. They are definetly making me second guess what I want!! :? :?:

Yeah, I couldn't decide on what kind of head piece to get, so I got both a veil and a tiara.

I don't know if they will last all night, but they look good!
