Had a late night in the ER

One of my roommates and bridesmaid, has a long history of medical issues. She has had 25 surgerys and is only 20 years old. She has had her stomach folded which prevents her from throwing up. So she hasn't thrown up since 3rd grade.

WELL last night she had the dry heaves REALLY bad, something wanted out of the poor girl, but it is impossible. So at 11:45 we had to take her to the ER. After having two things given to her through an IV we finally left around 4:30/5 am. Needless to say I slept through my 8:30 class. I have a test today blah so that might be rough! But her dad drove down from Detroit last night, but had to stop about an hour out because he couldn't keep driving. He should be getting here soon though. Poor girl is stuck in the bathroom because what they gave her creates more bowel movements.

Just thought I would let you in on my evening lol. If you think about it pray for her, she has a 8 hour ride back home today and its going to be hard in her condition.

I am really sorry to hear about your bridesmaid/roommate! It sounds like she has already been through a lot in her life! I hope she starts feeling better soon!

wow! sounds like you had a pretty rough night. If your ER is anything like ours here by my town then they are SLOW!! that sucks when you are worried about that person. Hopefully you do good on your test today! did you have any time to study at least?? :p

Thanks guys, she went home yesterday afternoon. Last I heard she was spending the evening just resting up. Sadly I haven't really got to catch up with sleep, BUT my university is having a 'winter break' so I don't have classes tomorrow so I can catch up then :)

Until then, I have a major Hebrew test to study for, which is at 11 :)
