:soppy: :soppy: :soppy:

Either DH thinks today is Valentines Day or the florist screwed up and delivered one day early.

A delivery man just gave me the prettiest bouquet of mixed flowers with a card. The card plays the tune "just to see you smile"!

I just talked with Hugh ....

He said that he sent them one day early because I would be more surprised. He was also worried that deliveries might not make it tomorrow or would be delayed because of the snow storm that is headed our way. Heck, I might not even be able to make it into work tomorrow.

BTW - I ended up getting him a super delux shower head yesterday. I plan to install it tonight while he's watching tv so that he will have a surprise tomorrow morning :)

Piece of cake .... in fact, I did a wonderful plumbing job on one sink at my old house. Truth of the matter is that I got ticked waiting for my ex to do it so ....... whoooo ahhhh. You would be surprised at what you can do with a pound of determination and a ton of anger.

The shower head directions say that no drilling is required ... that's what the box says anyhow. I should only have to remove the old shower head and put this one on. Just like turning a screw :)

You'll both love that shower head for sure! Way to go installing it yourself. I was gonna do ours back when we got it and I couldn't get the old shower head off.

That's so sweet, your hubby sending those flowers.
What a guy! :grinhappy:

Sorry ... I didn't mean to make anyone jealous. I am not really a flower person .... it makes me sad when they start to wilt and die but I do like surprises.

I work with a bunch of men and so they are all now saying that they have to have a "talk" with my husband. They say that he's just not doing them any favours by being "like that". LOL

My coworker has a camera phone and took these pics for me :) :)

They are very pretty, Elizabeth. Hugh is very sweet!
I am the same as you. I like surprises, but don't care a whole lot for flowers. I would rather they spend the money on something that isn't going to die in 3 days.

LOL. I have never told DH not to send them to me either, nor would I ever. I wouldn't want to hurt his feelers.
I always keep my flowers and hang them. That way they hang around alot longer.

Put them in the fridge or your garage overnight and change the water daily. This will help them last longer still.

LOL I hang them too ... and then display the flowers in pretty vases or jars .... my bouquet is still hanging from our dining room chandelier.

Well I managed to install the showerhead as he was watching ... The Next Generation, but he did come knocking on the bathroom door during a commercial to ask me if I was ok.

Phew .... "I'm fine" seemed to satisfy his curiosity.

What are you kidding? I plan on joining him in the shower. I am just hoping that he doesn't notice it before the morning .... or reads what I am posting LOL

(we sit side by side - dueling computers ... but for the most part he "zones out" and I am super quick at switching pages if I need to) LOL

Hahahah are you kidding? Our shower stall is so small there is little chance that a person would slip; and no chance at all with two in there. Just imagine a sardine can and you will have the right visual LOL

No worries .... it was a nice way to bring in Valentines day

How sweet of Hugh to do send flowers a day early. Thinking about the weather and all. NOw that really is thoughtful. I love the idea of the shower head. I will have to remember that for later. We have a large two person shower with a seat in it. Can I say "wonderful for two" as well. lol.
