I actually met him about 2 years ago. When I first started riding my sportbike or learning how to ride. I had signed up for some forums to get some advice and find some local people to ride with. Once I joined a local forum one of the guys sent me a message and told me to sign up here at www.gsxr.com which is a forum which specializes in the GSXR type of bike which I had :)
After a few months of joining that forum I became the local "Happy Birthday" greeter lol Well I made a Happy Birthday thread for him. He thanked me and at the time he was talking to some other chick on the board. After he got to know her he kind of had a bad feeling about her and sent me a PM. He thought because I lived near her and she talked about me like she knew me that I would know anything about her.
We ended up talking and he sent me his picture. I thought he was kinda a dork. So when he called me I blew him off hehehe.
Well a year later he sends me a PM with a Happy Thanksgiving. We start talking again and sparks hit this time. So months went by and all we have been doing is talking on the phone and chatting online.
My MOH was doing her first track day at Jennings,FL and invited me to come watch. I didnt have anyone to go with me and didnt want to make the drive so I said MAYBE. I told my cally pue that and he said he was going to be there to ride. He was begging me to come watch him and I agreed.
We met and it was love at first sight :)
From then on for a year we have been making trips back and fourth, to and from Atlanta to Florida which is only 8 hours apart and if we meet half way it would only be a 4 hour drive. Which is well worth it.
At first it was hard but we made some compromises. He even installed a webcam in his office so I can view him anytime he is at work. We talk all day at work on instant messenger and when we get off from work via phone. We have the same phone company so the call is free. Then when we get home we talk more online while we do other things :)
