I am a woman who loves to shop at Wal-Mart!
On a sunny day in April of 2001 my daughter and I went into Walmarts of Newnan, Ga to find a couple of gifts for her uncoming birthday on April 24. As we walked into the door, I saw this man preparing to take the place of the door greeter, glancing at the man I smilled and proceeded to walk thru the store. As my daughter and I found what we were looking for, checked out, and begun to walk out the door I glanced at the man again at the door and noticed that he was looking down with a sad look on his face. I quitely whispered to him, Why don't you look up sometimes and smile! He begun to smile as we walked out the door.
A couple of days later I returned back to Wal-mart to buy some milk and saw the man again stocking the yogurt in dairy. I heard a voice whisper, what does a man have to do to get your phone number - I replied it depends and smiled. After giving the man my cell phone number, I learned that his name was Alfred. As soon as I got home I recieved a phone call asking me to go out to the movies. I replied that if you want to do something for me then you can help remove this dirt pile in my back yard for my daughters uncoming birthday party that would be outside at my house. Alfred asked for my address so that he could see the extent of the dirt pile. I gave him my address one day but little did I know that the next day he would have the dirt pile moved only using a wheel barrow and a shovel. As time went on and we begun to spend time together, I quickly learned that this was the guy that I wanted to shared my life with. I didn't fall in to love with Alfred, I grew to love him. We got married on June 4, 05, he is currently working with my father digging holes and construction. We have a beautiful daughter and a lovely son. Little did I know that the day I told him to smile sometimes, that he would be smiling at me forever. I met by best friend and husband at Wal-mart and I've been enjoying our life together every since.

That is soooooo sweet! Me and my Fh started out with the full intention of being just friends. Neither of us wanted a realtionshipe let alone love. But what we found was what we had always been looking for and never thought we would find. I dont know exactly when I fell in love......one day it just hit me - OMG.......IM IN LOVE!!!!!
I always hated it when I was single and my friends would be with someone and they always wanted to find me somebody. But now I know where they were coming come......I wish love on everybody.

I'm right there with you...

My FH and I started out as online buddies...we played a game online together. We grew from there and I can't imagine life without him now. I know online relationships can be troublesome (I've had one), but I met the man I was supposed to be with, so they work sometimes. :)

Incidentally, the game we were playing was Star Wars Galaxies and we met on Tatooine...our recessional at the wedding will be to the main theme of Star Wars...and that was my idea. :)

Usahgrad, Its weird because thats how me and mine started talking......AND after we started really seeing eachother, we found out that growing up he was my half brother's childhood best friend. They grew up together about 2 hours from where I grew up. They hadnt seen each other in almost 20 years. There are also other "co-incidences" that just prove to us we were MADE for each other.

Aww! I love stuff like that! It's happy...lol.

My FH and I are such opposites, you'd never think we get along; but it's in our differences that our strength lies...we're great together!

I wish I was at home with him rather than at work! BLAH! :-P

I met my FH on line also. We were members of a quiz room. We were just friends for a logn itme so I am not sure when I fell in love with him. But he is the one I am supposed to be with. He even told me that he felt like calling up ahis ex girlfiends and telling the he was sorry. That he never truly loved them even though he tol dhim so. He said he has never known love like what he feels for me. Still to this day, It will be a year at Christmas that we have gotten back together, he tells me he wishes thre was a way he could show me or tell me just how much in love with me he really is. I tell him if it is even half as much as I love you then it is alot.

Can't imagine life with out him. He has given up so much for me. He moved away from his family and friends just to be with me.

When I met my FH I was out on a blind date with a friend of his (who I met online!) We had gone to see a hockey game with my date's cousin and her boyfriend. Steve just so happened to be using one of his brother's season tickets for that games. So in between periods, he came up to where we were sitting to talk to my date. We really didn't talk too much, since I was suppose to be on a date. I definatly thought he was cute and liked talking to him the little bit I got to, though. So, the next weekend I was invited to a superbowl party by the same guy I was on the date with. I get there and my date start being a jerk. I decided there that he was definatly not a guy I wanted to date. Low and behold who shows up...Steve. Come to find out, my date had gone up to Steve and told him that (my date) thought of him when he met me and thought he should get to know me. We ended up hangin out all night. I was living an hour and a half away at the time, but made the trip up to hang up with him every weekend. After 2 months I was definaly falling for him and the small town feel, so I moved up here. We've been spending every day together since!

This is the short version ... I met my husband and my best friend a little over 7 years ago. I had been divorced for about a year and just about sworn off men ;)

Anyway, I was working at a shoe store and one day I noticed a long haired guy looking at work boots. (I have always had a thing for long haired men) So I decided to go give him some customer service. Well he just blew me off and it kind of ticked me off. But I was like "whatever"

A couple of weeks later he came back in the store, this time I was on register duty and he decided to buy some candy. We talked a little and I got his name, but that was it. Over the next few weeks he kept coming in to see me, one day for socks, once day for shoe strings, etc. The people I worked with started calling him my stalker ;) But I didn't feel threatened by him at all; in fact I felt somehow drawn to him, I couldn't stop thinking about him.

Finally he came in one night just before we closed and I asked him out for drinks after work. He agreed and we stayed out til like 2am talking about all sorts of things. We had so much in common! The next day he asked me out again for dinner and a movie that weekend, I don't remember the movie but I remember we talked and talked after the movie. We spent alot of time together that week and he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said "are you sure that is what you want" he replied "Absolutely" Then he went on to tell me that he wanted this to be an exclusive relationship and I agreed.

I should have been afraid of another commitment since I had just been divorced a year but I wasn't afraid at all. We have been together ever since, 7 years in April 2006. We have an amazing relationship, he is my best friend, and my rock. I love him so much and I can't imagine my life without him! This year is our first Christmas as husband and wife. I got him this nice mushy card that says "To my wonderful husband" :D

Ok Here is our story......
We both grew up in a really small town (we still live here too) So we have really known each other all our lives. He was my oldest brother's best friend all through school. So we saw eachother once in awhile when he came over to see my brother, but I am 6 years younger than him so of course we never hooked up or even thought about it back then. As I got older I realized I was really attracted to him, I already knew he was a great guy and told my brother and another mutual friend. Well the friend told FH and he called me shortly after. I was only 15 at the time and he was 21 but my parents let me go to the movies with him. We have been inseperable since.
I got to skip a year in high school and graduated a year early. So at 16 I was out of school and had a full time job. It took me a little while to convince my parents to let me move out of their house and in with my FH. They didn't like the idea because I was pretty young and looking back now I can totally understand how they felt but they let me anyway and I am very happy that they did. The rest is history. We officially started dating on April 3rd 1994.

Hey guys, i just joined today and after reading your stories i'd like to share mine!
I met my FH at my sisters wedding almost 2 years ago. Of course i really didn't think anything would come of it, but i was very wrong! We started dating 1 week later, it's love at first sight i sware! He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and my kids(7 and 3 both girls). I think it was 3 months later when he moved in. My kids, family, friends and just everybody loves him he's the best. He proposed to me at his grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. I was so shocked i couldn't even answer him at first, but then of course i said yes! And our wedding is planned for September 2006.
