I have been searching the internet for a wedding message board, and I finally found this spot! I wanted to find a forum so I can bore all of you with the details, and not my friends! ;)

We are planning a Dec 2007 wedding, but are in the beginning stages. We are trying to keep it as small as possible but still invite those who really want to attend. In a couple of weeks we have an appt to see a farmhouse where we might have the ceremony/reception, so I am not sure about dates until we get that settled.

Well, I am looking forward to overanalyzing every small detail in the future! :bbbiggrin:

Welcome!!! I was a December bride myself!!! It's a great month to get married. Are you having a theme? Mine was winter wonderland and I was so pleased with the way it turned out. We don't have a specific theme, but we do want it to be "old timey"... we are looking at 1800s / Victorian (NO HOOPS) It will be small, one attendant each. Less than $5k hopefully.

It's not 100% official... we've told a few people, but not our parents haha... For me I am not ready to answer the 5 million questions and his sister is having marital drama so we are definitely waiting to "announce". I don't really want an engagement ring but he is thinking about using his mom's.

ok... it's past my bedtime!
