Maria ... if you could be anyone else for a day, who would it be and why?

Starting off with the tough one, huh?! LOL...

Umm... that's going to take a while to think about.

I think I would want to be someone rich. Not famous, but someone with money so that I could help those in need. Both in our country and outside it. So, no one specific.. just someone in a better situation to really help those who are less fortunate.

jeni740What did you want to be when you grew up?

I had orignally wanted to be an attorney of some sort. But as soon as I took my very first political science course in college, I knew it wasn't for me. Not fun at all!

saralovesmikeIf you could have anything you wanted what would it be?

Anything I wanted? I would have a peaceful life with my family and friends. By peaceful, I mean that all the drama that exists or the petty arguments. And I would live all alone with my husband by ourselves!

BriansBride07What is your most memorable moment in life besides getting married??

Going sky diving. It was the most amazing experience. I can't even begin to describe how thrilling, yet relaxing it is. It was the most liberating feeling ever. Seeing the world below you and knowing that there's nothing between you but air. It sounds scary, but it's just really incredibly awing. I don't think I'll ever forget the sight of the earth and the feel of the wind. Exhilerating.

NicksBrideWhere would you go if you could go anywhere in the world?

At this point, my next desired location to go is Hawaii. I've never been, and currently don't have plans to go, so that's where I'd just LOVE to go right now.

What is your favourite food?

Honestly, my favorite food changes. I rarely have one. Right now, I would have to say it's anything with cheese. I'm loving cheese these days! LOL

I really have 2 favorite colors: dark blue, like a royal navy blue... and the same tone of purple... royal purple. Love those colors!

How did you meet your husband?

I'll give you the full story, even though it's not all necessary to actually answer the question, but it's funny in terms of coincidence. at least to me.

I grew up in Massachusetts (mostly) and came to NY for college. (New Rochelle). I lived in New Rochelle, 5 blocks from where he lived, for 6 years. In early 2000, I moved to the Bronx. I got the internet and signed up for AOL. 2 weeks after I moved out of the town where he lived, that's when I "met"him. Funny, I thought. Plus, he went to college near where I grew up, and I went near his home. lol

Well, AOL has a directory service, where you can do a search for screen names based upon criteria you request.

So, apparently, one day he was bored and looking for people to talk to, so he did a member directory search (he still hasn't told me what his criteria were, lol) and my name came up, so he sent me an IM asking me if I was interested in talking. I don't mind talking, so I said yes. We were IM'ing for about 3 hours that first night, and every night for about a week, we were online chatting. After the first week, he asked if I'd be interested in talking on the phone. So he gave me his number. However, I wasn't sure how to pronounce his name, and I didn't want to get it wrong, so a few days later, on IM, I told him I'd lost his number and gave him mine so he could call me! LOL... he called that same night.

A week later we went out on our very first date. April 1, 2000. I'd like to say, "and the rest is history" but there were bumps. All that matters in the end is where we ended up, almost 7 years later!

Seriously... I love those, and I wish I could find something funny for it to say, but all I can think of is the following...

Be Postive and Shine!

I think finding positivity is a huge step everyday towards living a happier life. I'm trying it, and most of the time it helps! lol

My favorite thing about OW is all the different people I've been able to talk to, and all of the wonderful friendly advice they give on a regular basis. I never thought you could really make online friends, and I'm so glad to have been proven wrong.

My favorite movies of all time are: top gun, the last unicorn, the first power, and Big. I could watch any of those movies any time!

Sadly, I don't really have a favorite food. I love lots of different foods and can't really eat any one thing for two long. Though, I do love chocolate, just not all the time. lol

An ideal weekend is a weekend where it is just myself and DH. No one else around. We can be home, or away, doesn't really matter. It just would be the two of us all alone for 2 whole days. Heaven! *sigh*

What do you hope to be most remembered for?

I'd most like to be remembered as a caring person. Someone who was a true friend. Someone who really was able to help other people out, even if just by being there when needed.

If you could solve one world problem, which one would it be?

I see hate as a world problem. And if I miraculously had some power, I would somehow try to get rid of hate. I think it is the main reason for so many of the world's other huge problems, and that many of those would be gone if hate were gone.

I definitely wouldn't redo my wedding, I was for the most part, really happy with the whole thing. Which is a nice thing to be able to say! lol..

Honestly, and this is a little embarrassing , I would redo the first time I had sex. It was completely unromantic, and not really very good. I would make it a really special occasion, so that it would be remembered differently than it is now!

Lol when is the first time ever really romantic?! lol. Nothing romantic about pain and first time sex if you ask me! lol. My first time is much the same too, lol.

Sad, isn't it.. that most women remember their first time that way!! Most men, I'm sure, have a completely different memory of their first time! LOL
