Did anyone rent chair covers for the venue? If they did how much did they cost? Where did you get them?? Thanks all.

Through our venue they referred us to a rental company that is giving us 30% from the referall. I'm having 200+ guests..I can't remeber waht they quoted us but I know it wasn't expensive...If I get a chance tonight I will grab and see what the total costs are and get back to you. I will give you a heads up I live in a rural area so things are as expensive around here!

Holy shnickeys!! I'll make them for oyu for 1/2 that! LOL! (just kiddin')
really though there are LOTS of wedding craft books, have you ever thought of making them yourself? You can always sell them on E-Bay when your done, that's what we did with most of our stuff, except the really important stuff (canleabras (sp?), Unity Candle) stuff like that!
:whoa: :geek:

partypop.com and chairlinen.com quote $2 a chair

you can also try a google search with your town's name and 'chair cover rentals' to see if you are getting a good price for your area

I am lucky our reception site is providing them. We had to pay a little extra, but it will be worth it.
Good luck, I hope you find a good deal.

I have never actually been to a reception where there were chair covers used, and we arent plannig on having them either. I would look on the internet and see what you can find there.

I found a place online thru "the knot" (I think?) that was going to charge about $500 for 180 chairs w/ set up and delivery.

Be careful if you go with the chair covers. They look really cool but if the reception room is on the smaller side it tends to look cluttered. We were advised against them for that very reason.

This is who we went with. It was $1.50 per chair when we did it, but it's $2 a chair now. Here is a picture of our reception. They drop them off at your venue, and you have to put them on and take them off. You call them and they pick them up. http://uslinen.net/ (http://uslinen.net/)

THE RENTAL COST OF $2.00 PER
CHAIR COVER INCLUDING THE SASH, HAS
BEEN EXTENDED TO JANUARY 31, 2007.

AFTER JANUARY 31, 2007, THE PRICE WILL

INCLUDING THE SASH.

We';re renting chair covers for the reception. My placement student I'm supervising right now, her family actually owns a rental company. It's costing us somewhere between $1 to $2 per cover and we're working on maybe getting a few decorative table clothes in teh same colour thrown in too.
Otherwise the hall has them but they're $4 per cover and at lets say 120 that deffinetly adds up!!!

I really wanted chair covers...at least for the headtable if we could have...but we let it slide and didn't end up doing them....but when we called on prices in my town, they were like $5/each.

maybe go to a fabric sotre and have them cut out fabric the size you want them, may be cheaper. i know we have a discount fabric store that i have an extra dicount card for so im deffenetly doing that, 50 bucks for 150 ppl. depends on how thick or thin you want them to be. oh im talking about the ones that tie behind not cover the whole chair.

luckily the venue is providing them so I really don't what they run for but I think that depending on your area prices might vary.

the venue is providing them for free because they screwed up something earlier, but usually they're about $2 for each guest.

i think they're a pretty touch and can make the reception look more festive:flower:
