Exciting news!!!

While it isn't THAT big of a deal, I just got an exciting phone call :)

My old high school's winter homecoming is this friday night, and my mom said my little sister who is a junior got voted to be on a court as the junior princess!

hehe sorry it was very exciting for me. My freshman year I was voted on to the court, so now we both have been :)

That is exciting-my brother was prom king, although I was never even considered for any kind homecoming/prom anything, but it kind of makes you proud, doesn't it?

yeah that kept happening, so they made it that you can only get it once until senior year, (since you are only up for king and queen senior year, they let those who were on court before be voted in again if they get the votes) that way there are repeats

Unfortunately my school seemed like nothing but one big "Beuaty Contest" anyway...Don't get me wrong it was a great school, but most of the popular kids' parents were either a teacher or higher up if you know what I mean, so some of us didn't all get treated the same in Gym class if you know what I mean:bbmad: !!

It used to be so aggravating to me, but then once I graduated I didn't care!
Now I have to watch my poor little brother go throught the exact same thing, and that sucks, except well....he's actually in JROTC, so he does get treated with LOTS of respect. he runs any major event the HS hosts, so that is rewarding for me...kinda!
