Navy and Gold

I was very addicted to the Ultimate Wedding chat forum, so I am so happy to find this online community. My colors (after changing my mind about 5 times) are navy and gold. BUT when I was getting the materials together for my DIY invitations (7x7 pocketfolds) I liked the navy, plum, and ecru combo much better than the navy, gold, and ecru combo. Also, I live in Michigan and didn't know if the navy and gold was too University of Michigan (to make that combo worse-I graduated from the University of Texas-San Antonio)...so navy, plum, and ecru it is for the invites! :lol:

I live very close to UTSA. Cool that you're from around here!! I think that the invites sound lovely. You can still keep with the gold at the wedding, but I love plum. One of my favorite colors. Pretty much anything close to purple is good in my book.

Thanks for the welcomes. Our wedding is August 5. I just got off the phone with one of my bridesmaids. I am so behind in planning. My sister (maid of honor) and I did look at bridesmaid dresses a couple months ago and we did choose our favorite (a Jasmine B2 dress in navy). But I have not had a chance to look for the wedding dress I like.
