Will you allow your FH to have strippers and some lap dances in his bachelor party?

I personally don't believe in telling a person how they can party....I wouldn't be marrying them if I didn't agree with their "party ethics". Women who start out their married life telling their men what they can and cant do don't get much respect from me.
This was said by a friend of mine and it so eloquently sums up my thoughts on the matter.

I try not to "allow" FH to do or not do anything. I trust him to not do anything to jeopardize our relationship. He has asked me about it, to see how I felt about it and I told that I don't really care so long as he doesn't do anything stupid. At my FH brothers bach. party, his wife did not want strippers involved but they all went to a strip club anyway and they just lied to her about it. Great way to start off a marriage, huh? So to kind of add to what Melissa said, which ITA with, if you don't trust him enough to be around strippers then there are probably bigger problems to be addressed. Don't get me wrong, I don't love the idea, but I know it's not something he does every weekend and if he wants to have one night of letting loose a little bit, I am okay with it.

Honestly, I'm gonna let Kevin do whatever it is that he wants at his BP. The boy never does anything too crazy, he sits and does girly stuff whenever I want him to. I can't see him doing anything dumb, actually let me re-phrase that: He won't do anything dumb. He's just not that kind of guy.
If the guys wanna take him out to a Strip joint then go ahead. The most he'll do is sit and have a drink. He's not the lap dance type of guy either.
The way I see it, he can either watc a naked woman on a Friday night TV show, or he can go out with the guys and have a few drinks and see one in person.
I don't want him telling me what I can or cannot do, so I will do the same thing.

For me I wouldn't care one way or another if there were strippers at his bachalor party. Also, I wouldn't tell him that he could or couldn't have them either. I trust him and I know that I have nothing to worry about. This isn't anything that we even discussed. His guys are doing something for him and my girls are doing something for me and both of us know that in the end the last thing we would want it to have anything happen to jeopordize what we have been working so hard for!
In the end if he did have strippers at his bach. party...I would want to see pictures so I can laugh my butt off over them!!!! I think the whole stripper thing is funny in my own opinion. I have been to both a bachlortette party and even a bachalor party (I was close friends with both the bride and groom-I set them up back in college)...Anyhow, both of those parties were hilarious and they made and a@! out of the groom!!

Fh wouldn't want them there, he just wants to hang out with the guys and shoot pool or something with a couple beers :)

It was't an issue for us. Josh had been to strip clubs before we met, and said that he never saw the point in paying a girl to dance and getting all hot n heavy, and not being able to do anything.
We had a combined bach/ette party, and it was great!!!

Shawn says the same thing about strippers..He just doesn't get the point of it all..

My DH didn't end up really having a bachelor party...he just went to the shooting range with a friend when I was back home for my shower and bachlorette party. I would have killed him if he went to a strip club or something...we already discussed that we both thought it was wrong...

DH didn't have any at his.. Him and the boys went out camping. But if he had, it wouldn't have bothered me at all!

I told Joe that I would prefer that they not go to a strip club (I think it's disrespectful to our relationship), if he and his Best Man (his uncle) do anything. If his uncle took him to a strip club, I wouldn't be angry - I know Joe wouldn't do anything. I don't "let him" or "not let him" do anything.

Clayton and I are going to have a combined bach/ette party. My FSIL did this and it was a blast.
We will also both be turning 21 before the wedding so I think that night can be kind of like a mini bach party.
I think that going to a strip club is disrespectful of our relationship. DH sees it the same way. So while I would never tell him what he can/cant do, I dont think he would in the first place.

I will never tell my husband he can't do something, I am not his mother. However, well before we got married we talked about how I feel about this and other issues that might come up in our lives. If I felt he was the kind of person who was into debauchery and/or would disrespect me and my feelings then I wouldn't have married him.
Now having said that, I don't care for strippers, lap dances more so, but I am not going to stop DH from going to a strip club every now and then. I would rather he didn't, but I know he knows the parts that would upset me most and I know he wouldn't do that.
As far as the bachelor/stag party goes, I hate that many men see it as their last night of freedom and fun with their friends. If you really feel that way then why get married?!
And I hate that Vegas slogan "What happens here stays here" To me it is just promoting scandalous behavior. But I guess that is what the city is known for.

I really didn't mind if he went, but we discussed it before hand becuase I thought it would be an option with some of the people he hangs with, but they decided to rent UFC championship wrestling instead. He also doesn't get the point...what are they gonna do when all the guys finally reach this point?? LOL!:bblol:

I agree totally! I married Eric because of who he is not for what I want him to be or to do!

I would allow my fh to have strippers to an extent of course. We were talking about this the other day because my brides maids are planning a stripper for me but I told them I dont mind a stripper as long as he does not touch me. That is basically the rule for us but he doesnt even want a stripper he says all he wants is a track day with the boyz lol

I am cool with my FH going to the strip club for his bachelor party. I am not as comfotable with the idea of having strippers going over to somebody's house like if they have a party or something. I really think that those stripper girls are desperate and will do anything for money. I know my baby wont do anything, but I really don't trust some women especially strippers. I figure it is his last night as a single man have fun...but keep your hands to yourself LOL!!!

I personally wouldnt mind at all! I would never tell Joe what he can and cant do! In fact i was thinking of hiring a pole dancer for his birthday! But he wouldnt appreciate it! Its not his thing! But if he decided that it would be fun to go to strip club for his stag night than fine!

Short answer: no
longer answer: Matthew wouldn't even consider it. Not only would it go against our beliefs, but he says that he honestly has no desire to see anyone else with their clothes off.
He rented a house for him and his groomsmen to stay in the night before the wedding and they are going to all hang out and play some cards and stuff

I think this is a matter of trust for some women (Aside from religious beliefs of course)
I trust my husband tremendously and If he wants a lap dance from another woman...Fine...Less work I have to do when he gets home...hahahahaha

Fortunately, this isn't an issue for me. I'm not sure what he wants to do, but I'm 99.9999% sure it won't involve strippers.

It's not Kevins thing. But if his BM takes him to a strip club I'll be ok with it. He would probably be more uncomfortable being there than I would knowing he's there. I dont want a male stripper either. I don't need some strange, mostly naked man all up on me. We will prob have a combined party anyway.

I think FH is going to have them but he doesnt even know because his bestfriend is throwing the party for him, but I really cant say nothing he never goes anywhere without me so why not let him have some fun before hes a married man..I dont really like the idea because of the things you hear that happens but i trust him and he should know right from wrong its really on him wat he wants to do..if theres no trust and respect you shouldnt be getting married..ok let me stop..lol
