Uggh!!!

When my mom put the deposit down on my gown the bridal shop owner told me to caller the first or second week to get my swatches for my dress and the bridesmaid dresses. So, I call and speak directly to her. Introduced myself and told her I am calling like she said to about the swatches. Well, she got very rude and was like what are you talking? I went through the story again that when I made my deposit she didn't have either the burgondy swatches or swatches of my gown and that to call back in January just before my dress is in to get a swatch. She said rudely well, I can't go calling for swatches every two weeks for you girls you are just going to have to call yourself!! what a :censored:
Obviously, she had a bad day...I was very nice to her and by all means she told me to do this...I'm just frustrated cause I have been waiting for these swatches for since Novemeber, I'm back to square one, and she treated me so incredibly rude which was completly uncalled for, to top everything off I need to find numbers to call Maggie Sottero and Alexia designs to get a flippin swatch and probably pay for it too. I guess she doesn't have to give us swatches but heck then why did she offer these in the first place!! UGGH! Anyhow, I could wait longer but it wouldn't help me with the BM dresses we're not ordering them until next month. Either way because she acted the way she did I'm ordering my BM dresses elsewhere there are 3 other stores that carry Alexia near me, I'm not taking this other ladies ****! I'm buying nothing more from her..I'm going elsewhere for the alterations too!! anyways, just frustrated...end rant!!

What is it with people at bridal shops these days??!!! That's really terrible that she treated you that way. I would definitely go elsewhere for the rest of the things, and I would also consider making a serious complaint against her with her supervisor as well. Even if you're going to go elsewhere, and she had a bad day, she has no right to speak to you that way, and she should be reported!

Good luck getting the swatches.. I hope you don't have to pay for them!

Hmmm you were alot nicer than I would have been...be nice to her wait until you get your dress and then inform the woman that evidently the one holding the checkbook was treated nicer than the bride which speaks volumes for HER character and then tell her that "these girls" including you...could take your business elsewhere and then she could try and figure out how to pay for her shop, her overhead and her operating expenses. If she doesn't feel she has time then maybe she should hire some help because evidently she isn't organized or efficient enought to handle the tasks at hand!

It won't help but I'd be danged if she got away with speaking to me like that!

Good luck, I went thru hell with some rude people in my dress shopping!

Yeah since my dress doesn't come in until next month I wasn't going to give her my piece of mind just yet..I will wait until I pick up my dress and have it in my arms to do that!

Customer service in general is just non-existent these days. I actually feel the need to tell people when they are doing their job well and compliment them. I recently called Northwest about an airline ticket, and the guy didn't understand my question - after several attempts to explain to him, he just hung up on me!! He HUNG UP on me! Can you believe that?? His JOB is to HELP customers! Unbelievable. I hope he got fired.

Jonelle, I hope all works out for you, I would also give her a piece of my mind.. But like you said when your dress is in your hands. LOL keep us posted on the hunt for you BM's dresses at another location.
