Jenn, if you could be anyone else for just one day, who would it be and why?

I think i would want to be my husband. I think i would like to see the world through his eyes for a day. I think i would better understand him sometimes if i knew what it was like to be in his shoes.

Absolutely! We never knew how much we wanted a family until we were faced with the possibility of not being able to. We're hoping to have one in the next year or so.

I am an only child. I did have a brother when i was young who passed away from cancer. So most of my life it has been just me. I think it has both helped and hindered me.
Helped me because i was very independant and my parents could afford to give me more. They paid for my first diploma and helped me with housing etc.
Hindered me because i have a fear of being alone in the world one day. I look at my husband and his sisters who are all very close and i know that when there parents are gone they will still have eachother. When my parents are gone i won't have anyone.

Honestly.... I really want a Dog. Preferably an American Eskimo. I had one growing up and she was an angel. So i would love to get another one.
A polar bear would be cool too. :grinhappy:

What is your most embarressing moment?

Oh.... I'm sure i have had lots of them. But the one that comes to mind the most happend not so long ago.

I had my surgery on a Thursday in October, by Tuesday i was extremely ill. I had a feever and i was dizzy. I could barely go from the bathroom to my bed without feeling like i was going to pass out. I got tired of laying in my bed so i moved to the sofa. I was curled up there when i realized somthing wasn't right. There was a smell. I was talking to my mom on the phone at the time and told her and she said it was probably somthing from outside then said she was going to come over and check up on me. So while i waited for her to get to our apartment i thought i would get up and go to the bathroom and see about getting a drink. When i moved again the smell came back stronger. At that point i realized the smell was ME! :bbeek:
The insission from my surgery had gotten infected and was now oozing out. (sorry if thats TMI) I paniced jumped up and got to the bathroom to check it in the mirror. It was so bad it was running down my stomic and i had to get paper towel to stop it. My mom got to the house to me completely FREAKING OUT! She made me change my shirt and took me to emerge. I had to wait in the waiting room for an hour or so where i continued to ooze. It went through the gauze i had put on before leaving the house and i was beginning to stink up the waiting room. The nurse gave us more bandages and tape so my mom took me to the bathroom to help me change the bandages. My poor mom nearly threw up because the smell was so terrible. It didn't help. Out in the waiting room again i looked arround to realize that alot of people arround me had their hands over their noses. I thought... OMG I SMELL! I made my mom take me out of there and let me wait by the door so i wasn't offending anyone. Finally when i got into the E.R. and saw some nurses and Doctors i appologized to everyone for the smell cause i was so horrified and embarrised. They were all nice and said they had seen worse.

So that's my most embarressing moment.... It's pretty gross. :whyme:

If i could live anywhere in the world i think i would live in Alberta. I mentioned to Mark the other night that we should open up a music store in Banff. That would be fantastic! I love the Rocky mountains! It's where i feel most at home! :penguin:

what was your biggest fight with your husband

Mmmm, we don't fight alot. So i don't really remember many. But i guess Christmas 2005. Before we were married friends of ours gave us a bride and groom beanie baby. I thought they were really cute and told Mark that. He replyed with "yeah, all it needs is a ball and chain." I was totally shocked and definatly upset. I didn't say anything to him for the rest of the night. When we got in the car to go home we had a huge fight because i was so upset he would say or think something like that. He ment it as a joke. But it wasn't funny. He apologized, but i was still upset and couldn't help but not be upset. He was mad at me then for dwelling on it. So we argued about it all the way home. The next day he called me (he was staying at his moms and i was at my moms) and apologized again and seemed to better understand where i was coming from and how i could not just get over it in an instant. Apperently his step dad gave him **** at home cause he heard what Mark had said. He was impressed that i didn't turn and ream Mark out at that moment.
We've never had anything like that ever since. It was terrible.

Nothing. I love him exactly the way he is!

It would be nice if he emptied that cat box more often. But i still love him even though he doesn't do it all the time.

What is the strangest thing you ever thought about doing but didn't actually do it?

Ok.... I think the strangest thing i ever thought about doing and didn't was dropping out of school so i could avoid a past roomate. Every time i saw her my heart started to race and i thought i was going to throw up. I wanted to get away so badly. But nobody would let me do it.

I don't know if that is strange really. But in restospect it was kinda stupid to even think that way.

Music. I married a musician and i have NO musical skills at all. I would love to be able to play the guitar so him and i could jam together. I'm trying. But i am not so good at it. Other then jam, i think it would be nice to teach at the music store i work at. I think it would be fun!

Wow.... that's a good one!!

I think i would have to say Blue.
It's a cool calm and relaxing colour which i generally am. But also it can be dark and mysterious and bright and cheerful. Some people feel it is a bit sad of a colour as well. I do tend to get the 'blues' occasionally as well. So it seems to fit me best i think.

I think i would write a book about the first year of my marriage. I grew up thinking everything would be perfect. But so far life has definatly thrown some curve balls at Mark and i that we definatly did not expect.

If not that. Then Childrens books. I would love to write and Illustrate a story. :hi:

What is your favorite season? Why?

Late spring early summer. Before it gets too hot but it's nice now and the rain has mostly stopped. I like it because it's fresh and clean feeling outside. It's like being set free from being trapped inside because it's so cold all winter. I can't wait for spring!

LOL maybe! That was a fantastic day!

What is a normal day like for you?
Normal day.... I wake up arround 840am to check my temp for fertility charting. Some days i get up and go to the gym then and some i go back to sleep until 930ish. (lazy i know) I then get up have a shower get dressed check my e-mail and OW and BR. After that i do some freelance design work for a couple hours (depending on how much i have to do) then do house work usually for an hour or so before i have something to eat then check in to OW and BR. I start getting ready for work at 2ish. I leave the house arroundd quarter to 3 and work until 9pmish. When i get home Mark and i usually hang out and talk about our day watch some TV and check our e-mail and OW and BR. I usually head off to bed arround 11pm depending on how i am feeling.
It's pretty boring right now.:purplex:

Do you speak with an accent?
Yes and no. Arround here it doesen't sound like i have an accent at all. But i know when i have gone to the states or to England i have been asked where i am from because of my accent.

Which accent do you think you have? I have heard 2 main types of Canadian accents one is very light and the biggest difference is the "o" sounds like in about and the other has very heavy french influences.

It depends on where you are from really. NewFoundland definatly there is a noticeable accent. French Canadians have more of a french tone to their voice. I have neither. I have been told by my Friends GF who is from Tenn. that we say about and house funny.
