Ellen, if you could be someone else for just one day, who would it be and why?
I would like to be Gabrielle Reese...she's a famous volleyball player and model. I looked up to her growing up because she made me feel comfortable in my own skin...she's about 6'2" and very athletic but she is also a model. Growing up I was very involved in volleyball and she was one of my "idols"!

What is your most embarressing moment?
Oh Gawd! Which one? I guess the one that sticks out in my mind is when a friend of mine let me ride his barrel horse...I was doing fine, rounded the barrels okay for a rookie and then when we were flying down the home stretch I didn't quite understand that when a barrell horse come to a stop the do so all at once...no sliding like the reining horses I'm used to...it just jolted to a stop! I ended up going over it's head and landed on my back and was looking up at the horse...I still had one of the reins in my hands...unfortunately the arena that I was riding in was FULL of people...everyone got a good laugh. I was fine!

What would be your dream vacation?
Oh that's easy! Out west on a huge working cattle ranch, punching cows, riding the range...being a true western cowgirl! I would love to take one of those "dude" ranch vacations with Eric...and it would have to have good hunting too!

We want two...ideally a boy and a girl. If I have two boys or two girls we will try one more time!

No, I have one sister. I will admit that being 9 years younger than her gave me the opportunity to be spoiled, which dad did quite well LOL!

do you have any odd habits??
Hmmm...I dunno...I'm a clean freak...I can't stand disorganization.
I brush my teeth in the shower (learned that while I was in the military, saves time!)
I don't like sleeping in socks, they come off and get trapped between the top sheet and fitted sheet at the end of the bed.

What things annoy you worst about other people?
Lying, chewing food or gum with your mouth open, procrastinators, know-it-alls, people that judge you socially and economically based on your appearance. People who drive in the right hand lane and won't move over. Bad breath and those that insist on getting right in your face with it (blech)!

What is your normal day like?
M-F I get up at 645 am at work by 800, work till 5, go home...run errands, do chores (we live on a farm) and watch a little TV or read then go to bed, Eric gets home around midnight.
Sat and Sundays...if he has to work I clean...do laundry. If not it could be anything! Winter time is pretty passive but spring and summer revovles around the farm and the horses.
Since marriage what has been the most memorable moment? (other than baby vinson)
Eric is constantly amazing me, that's a hard one! I guess THE most memorable one was watching our niece Lexy being born and watching Eric with her...most men won't touch little bitty babies but he had no problem and watching them interact is just heartwarming!

Eric and his father train (break) all our horses...yes Eric would like to retire someday and just train them for certain sports.
No on the stud farm...raising studs is expensive, a PITA and well I don't like stud horses...they have one thing and one thing only on the brain and are USELESS in an show arena full of Mares! LOL! *this is only my opinion/taste lots of people have huge success with studs...I just don't care for them.

Besides your family, what is your weekness?
My weakness is not being able to say no. I always volunteer to help, end up being drug into a huge ordeal and then being upset at myself for not just saying no in the first place. I can't help it, I want to help...when people take advantage of it though it burns me up but I feel guilty putting an end to it.

I would change the fact that he works 2nd shift...the money is awesome but I don't get to experience being home with him at night, cooking daily meals for him etc....we talk alot on the phone, and cram everything into the weekends. However when he does go to 1st shift...we may kill each other (LOL)...my mom told me that we get along so well because we never see eachother!

You know I told DH the other day that since we are working different shifts here as well that the time we do share now is more meaningful to us. We seem to have gone back to a more dating type thing. We email and talk on the phone more this way. I love it.

What is a normal day like for you?
Do you speak with an accent?
A normal WEEK day
645 wake up, eat breakfast, shower and leave for work by 745
8-5 work (Director of Programming for an NBC and CBS station)
5-9 go home, run errands, do household chores, watch a little HGTV or TLC, read and go to bed (sometimes go to my SIL's for supper and eat or have supper at my in-laws...Eric works 2nd shift so he's not at home for a "normal life")!
3 days a week I babysit my SIL's 3 kids (her and her DH work nights) (her hubby brings them to me at 830...I put the boys to bed, feed the baby/burp/change diaper and play with her until she gets sleepy then I put her to bed and I go to bed) The next morning I get up fix the boys breakfast and get into the shower. Eric makes sure they get dressed, brush teeth etc., he puts the oldest on the bus and I take the baby and the youngest boy to daycare on my way to work!
WEEKENDS
Up by 8...depends on what our day has to hold for us...if he has work to do on the farm I clean the house on Saturdays, go grocery shopping, take a bubble bath, cook dinner (or go out to eat) watch a movie (or catch one in the theater).
Sundays we are up by 830...I cook a light breakfast and we are in church by 10, at lunch by 1130 and then again it depends on what we have to do...then back in church at 6 and out to dinner with my in-laws by 730...Sunday nights we cuddle and watch TV or a DVD!
During the Spring, Summer and Fall we are OUTSIDE with the horses and the farm. We go to horseshows at least twice a month and compete (this year I will work in the "office" processing entry forms and such because I obviously can't compete ;) ! When he competes you will find me glued to the arena railing "hooting and hollering" for my man and his horse!
I have a pretty good southern accent...I was born in North Carolina and raised in Ohio but we spent most of our time in Kentucky on the weekends, holidays, summers...we moved back here when I was 15. I do however try to use proper grammar and not sound like a total "hick"! LOL. I do say ya'll and other "southern words"...it gets worse when I'm mad LOL!

Uhm yeah...lemme call the bank and get about 4.5 million and we'll get right on it~ ~!
You'll just have to stick around to hold the baby or transfer some of the money that your son isn't appreciative of over to a plane ticket so I can come visit you! JUST KIDDING!
Sure why not one more won't kill me! Between my mom, his mom, my sister, his sister (who will be my deliveirng RN hopefully) there will be plenty in the delivery room (I MAY GO MAD:petrified: )!

If you could be anything (Professional wise) What would you want to be?
I know this may not sound very "professional" but our dream is to own a working cattle farm...where we would raise over 200+ head of cattle for beef. We would also have our horses, train them and show them alot more than what we do now. I would take care of the business side of the operation and Eric would take care of the animals etc...
