How we met....:wub:
I live in Gulfport, MS. so after Hurricane Katrina me and my ex-fiance started to talk again around Thanksgiving and ended up getting back together. Well by Christmas I soon realized why I broke it off with him in the first place, but not before I ended up pregnant. Well he denied that it was his baby and so on (some of you know how that goes). Well after that all I did was stay at home and cry and feel sorry for myself that no one would want to be with me since I had a baby! So some time in February my friends decided that they were going to take me out to dance, pretty much anything to get me out of the house so I would stop all the crying!!!! Well I get ready and met my best friend Lauren and we head out to Lookout 49 about one of the only places open by this point! We dance alittle and decide to walk up stairs to the karaoke bar. Well as soon as we walked up there I notice this guy in a BRIGHT lime green shirt across the room. Well guess what Lauren just so happens to know him VERY well. Comes to find out they are the best of friends that had gotten seperated after Lauren had split up with Jimmy's friend. So we walk over there and she introduces me to him and I just kinda sit back quitely. Well we left and that was it.
Well by March I had lost the baby, so I was throwing a friend of mine a birthday party at one of the other bars that was open around here. You could say I was a little tipsy and ran into him again. Well by this point I was not going to sit here and be quite. So we talked for a little bit and I flited around the bar (trying to play hard to get). In the mean time he is asking my friends about me! Well I was about to get ready to leave and he asked to me to walk to this corner cause he wanted to get my number so I gave it to him. So what does he do he dialed my phone number from his phone and called me, his number came up and he said if you are intrested you call me and just walked off. I was just so dumbfounded that I didnt know what to do, that has never happened to me before. So I just couldnt wait to call him the next morning. And from then on we have really been inseperatable.
Come to find out the first night we had met Lauren had told Jimmy about me being pregnant. He then told her to ask me if I needed a baby's daddy. I just thought that was absolutly too cute!!! It also made me feel so much better about myself.

Well we had been talking about getting married and we just knew that we wanted to be together even though we had not been together very long. One day we were going to lunch or something, we were stopped at this stop sign in my neighborhood and I noticed that he was sitting at this stop sign for a longer period of time than need be so I look over and he pulls out this box and opens it and says "Meredith Anne will you marry me!" I said of course I will.... Well this happened October 21st 2 days after my birthday and 1 day after his. It was so sweet I couldnt have asked for anything more.

Well our date is set for March 24th of this year. I have my dress order and just so happens that I am going to pick it up this weekend. My bridesmaids dresses and shoes have been ordered and already here. I have my flowers picked out. My grandmother is going to make my veil for me, I feel like it would be more special that way. I just went and made the plans for the cake and the groomscake. I have my photographer picked out and I want to try and make plans to do my bridal sitting soon!!!
