Holy **** Ger 7 days!!!!!!!! Time is gonna fly by now you must be so excited :)

I'm here for just a sec before I have to get dressed for graduation!! I woke up this morning thinking Holy ####, only 7 days!! And as I'm thinking that Bruce leans over and whispers...honey, 7 days from today!!! He's sooo funny. He went and got his hair cut this morning. She always does an awesome job with his hair.

We got to hang out with my little granddaughter this morning too. AND we got to see our FDIL. Her sister is graduating today too, so she is home. My DS didn't come with this weekend because he needs to come home next weekend.

Now we're headed for the parties. We kind of did a little of that last night. It was just an impromptu thing with some friends from my second job. It was fun.

We had a good day. The graduation was kind of long, but the parties were fun. I got to visit with some cousins that live away. Then we went down to the party in Pierre. There weren't a lot of people there...but we had a good time dancing and visiting and having a few drinks.

I can't wait to have it here, so that maybe there are some pictures!! About the only thing I have left is to clean my house for all the company I have coming. I have said that the only people coming that weren't raised in this house are Bruce's brother and his gf. The rest of them know Mom's not an immaculate housekeeper!!!

I'm kind of having a stress. First, some backround. As most of you know, my ex walked out the door on me and I was devastated(sp). Well, when he left, his family told me that no matter what, I was still a part of their family. Just because he was stupid enough to leave...didn't mean they were going to. Soooo, to make a long story, shorter...his younger sister, aunt and uncle, nephews, and daughters have been invited to the wedding (His daughters are standing up with me.)

Anyway, he has an older sister that has never liked me or been even tolerant of me. She is a freeloader that has always wanted and pretty much gotten a free ride. Well, she is not invited...but guess who is coming to SD???? It just irritates the living daylights out of me that she has the guts to come up here this weekend of all weekends!!

But, once again...I'm going to be the bigger person and just be nice. It totally makes me angry and you guys are the only ones I can say it to. Her younger sister (whom I love dearly) said they were going to pawn her off on the ex. The only problem with that is...he's coming to the reception too. (If you remember, he and Bruce are good friends)

Oh, well....drama, drama, drama!! I so don't want any drama at our wedding. I just want it to be fun and lighthearted!!! I guess we'll see.

Oh, yeah...I almost forgot the weather!! Here's the new forecast!! I so hope they are wrong! Bruce is so excited about it being cooler...but I'm going to freeze to death!!

FOUR DAYS!!!!

I am in awe at how you are handling this, you truly are the bigger person and you are just amazing. As someone else said, just take it for what it is worth and just enjoy these last few days. Try not to stress, just be in the moment with Bruce and really just relax, you are going to be beautiful, your wedding is going to be gorgeous and you are marrying a wonderful man.
Everything about the day will just be perfect and all the stress and all the worries will just melt away!!!

I am so excited. It is raining today, so Bruce is home with me. We are going to get a whole bunch of things done...maybe. I also have my granddaughter because she is running a fever. She likes a lot of cuddling when she doesn't feel good...so we'll see how much I actually get done.

Thank you so much for your kind words, ladies. A good nights sleep has really helped and yes...I will be the bigger person. It still irritates me that my exs family has to be messing with my wedding, but it will work out!!

Yea four days!! Just you don't get sick from your granddaughter. that sounds really mean I am sorry. I just would hate to see you get sick on your big day. I hope your granddaughter feels better of course and that you and bruce can get some stuff done. It is nice to have your FH home though, makes the day better!!

Yes, makes any of my days better. I so love having him take days off when I have days off!!!

And, no, you're not being mean. We always worry about that too. But, because I work with sick people, usually my immune system is pretty strong. Unfortunately, if someone is going to give me something..it will be her. I'm kind of worried that she has West Nile. I need to research the symptoms. She is running a high fever and has a headache. I've been keeping the Motrin and Tylenol going and her fever stays down...but it was 103.5 this morning when she got up!!

Yes, we've had quite a bit of rain...and she plays outside a lot. My daughter trys to keep spray on her...but you know how 3 year olds are. As long as I keep her mediated, she does well. LOL Her great Grandma came to pick her up for the afternoon...so now I can get going on the cleaning!!

She is feeling better as long as she takes the meds. And she has been very good about letting me get things done. She is at her Great Grandma's now...so I'm just going to town getting things done.

This is a story for all you Mom's whose children love their Grandma's. Kaelie, this morning was wanting Grandma. Darcy kept telling her that she would stay home from work and use her "Kaelie time"...and Kaelie was having none of it. She kept telling her Mom that she wanted "the Grandma that's your Mom"!! (she has 2 Grandma's and 2 Great Grandma's that live here in Sully Co. and a Grandma and a Great Grandma that lives in OK, so she has to tell Darcy which Grandma she wants!!) Do you suppose she is just a little spoiled by her Grandma's and Grandpa's???

Darcy was all sad because Kaelie was wanting to hang out with me...and I told her that paybacks are hell. When she was Kaelie's size, she would take Grandma over Mom anyday...actually still would!!! LOL So that is why I was watching a sick sweetie today. She loves me unconditionally!!! I am so very blessed.

See why I just can't resist her. I haven't seen much of her in the last week, so she was missing me as much as I was missing her. Her Mom works for the Dept. of Public Safety and we are having flooding in the northern part of the state, so she is going to be working a whole bunch of extra hours. She told them that they can't have her on Saturday...but I guess they told her everything else is fair game. Darn... I had big plans for her this week!!

Me, too. My Grandma Edith was the coolest person in the world and if I can be half the Grandma that she was...I'll consider myself lucky!!

Yes, I think they are great. After the wedding I should have some pictures of the 2 grandchildren that I have never met. (Step actually, but we pay no attention to those details. LOL) I can't wait. They will all be here day after tomorrow.

Yiiipppppeeeee...It's only 3 days!!! I'm so excited I could burst. I woke with a really bad headache this morning...but am feeling better now!!

Kaelie is feeling much much better. Her poor Mom was up most of the night so she is extremely tired...but Kailz is just her same old wild woman self. She makes me giggle!!

WaaaHooo Ladies...I'm almost there. We had a fantastic gathering in place of rehearsal. We had a big cook out at our house. My family did almost all the work...and I only had to answer questions!!!

I only had one or two meltdowns today. Bruce has been so good. He is soooooo sweet. He has been really helpful and sweet and calming and loving and I am sooooo lucky.

Thank you ladies for allllll your help. You guys have been so helpful and sweet. Thank you too for all your well wishes. You are fantastic. I'll let you know how it went.
