My planning so far. 15 days since engagement!
I've been around here for a while 'planning my wedding' but I wasn't formally asked until Dec. 23rd of 2006
So it's been a little over two weeks and this is what I have so far (because I kick *** at this stuff)
As if right now I feel like I finally have things moving the way I want.
- I bought all of the tools and supplies to make our invitations, and response cards

- I'd love to have the reception at the Harry's Savory Ballroom (http://www.harrys-savoy.com/ballroom.asp), however they are booked for August the 4th. My Mother suggested a sunday reception would be better anyway because people will not get drunk, knowing they have to be back at work in the morning!
- There is a church called the Chester Bethel church that is walking distance from the ballroom. It's historic and every time I pass it I want to take pictures of it. I asked my Mom to contact them for rates.
- I have chosen the bridesmaids gown color, and their next job is to buy the style they want. - For bridesmaid's gifts: I have bridesmaid necklaces in mind. They are silver necklaces featuring a genuine four leaf clover. If you care, they are here: http://i15.ebayimg.com/04/i/06/79/64/0b_1.JPG (http://i15.ebayimg.com/04/i/06/79/64/0b_1.JPG) They will match the dresses (who incidently are the color 'clover') and bring a little of my heritage into it.
- I love the bridesmaid dresses + the bouqets in that picture. They're calla lilies. We will be using those, probably.
