I only have a few rehearsal pictures. :( I forgot my camera and my mother had so much going on she didn't really get to take many pictures. The rehearsal was crazy, crazy, crazy. It was pretty hard getting everyone to pay attention and I was pissed that one of the ring bearer's dad didn't bother to bring him and didn't even call. Justin's dad had to call him. I didn't want him in the wedding to begin with because his dad is so unreliable. Another issue was one of my bridesmaids got a 24 hour stomach virus and was not able to be at the rehearsal. She was so upset about it. Poor thing she called me crying.

But the seafood buffet was EXCELLENT!!! Everyone loved it and I think everyone had a nice time after the actual rehearsal was done.

Our accomdations at the resort were great! The cabin was wonderful and comfy. It was a 3 bedroom log cabin with a fire place and a big balcony. The first picture is of our view from the balcony.

These next two pictures are of the guys and of Justin with my cousin standing in for me. I wasn't into that whole thing of how it is supposed to be bad luck for the bride to stand in, but everyone insisted on it. No big deal though.

The night before the wedding we decorated for hours and hours and hours! We had so much help though. It was pouring down rain. I mean it was like a torrential rain fall. When I finally got back to the cabin and to bed I could not sleep for anything. I tossed and turned for a long time before I finally fell to sleep.

When I got up in the morning I took and shower and threw on some clothes. I had to meet one of my bms back at my place at 9:00. We met up and I got a hold of the other bm who was sick the night before and she said she felt better. She met us at the hair salon for our appointment. Actually Paula and I were running a bit late and she beat us there. My other 2 BMs met us up there as well. Everyone's hair looked beautiful!!!!!

Then Paula, Karlie, and I had our make-up done. I really liked it as well. The make-up artists did a very good job.

Then it was off to get ready.

This first picture is of me just sitting down. I don't really remember what I am doing. The second is of Tiffany putting some lotion on.

Aww...I love the pictures soo far...You look soo tan in the picture of you getting dressed...You're soo pretty anyways, but that picture is great!

We shared a bottle of wine while dressing! I really needed it too because if you notice I have 5 BMs and one is missing. My MOH is very pregnant. She is not due for another month though. Well that morning she started having contractions. She had to go to the hospital and they let her go, but said she had to be on bed rest. The wedding actually started a little late because of that. At least she made it and she is doing fine. She sat during the ceremony, but we had her a special chair up front with us!

Here are some pictures of the flower girls and sister of the flower girl getting ready. They did wonderful! These two girls listened and did exactly what they were supposed to do. They were just great and so cute. My aunt made their dresses. I was very pleased with the results.

One of my most favorite things from my whole wedding was my cake. Not only was it gorgeous, but it was very tasty. So many people came up to me and told me how good it was and how pretty it was. It has rasberry filling and it was so good!

My least favorite thing about the wedding was my flowers. That was disapointing to say the least. The arrangements for the columns and the head table were beautiful and my bouquet was amazing! I can't wait to see the professional pictures because I don't have any bouquet shots now. The attendant flowers were botched. I was supposed to have white callas for them to carry. Instead they got red roses. The florist said the callas came in and they were brown. Then the fathers were supposed to have rose bouts and they got sweat heart roses instead. What really erks me about it is callas are more expensive than 2 red roses and we didn't get any money back. My mom said she wished she would have said something, but oh well. Also the grandmother's corsage was supposed to be a pin on corsage, but she got a wrist corsage which we specifically asked that not to be.

Anyway enough of the negative!!! The cake was just fantastic!!!! Almost all of it got eaten. So many people showed up to the wedding. We had well over 200 people there! The fajitas were also great! Everyone said they were so good. I didn't eat much, but what I had was good. I did have 2 pieces of cake though!!!

Justin's cake was also just as cute! My tasted better in my opinion!!!! His cake and table were John Deere tractor themed. For those that don't know, Justin is a salesmen for John Deere. He sales large farm equiptment. Justin's mom and step-mom did this table and it looked so good. The cake was tasty. I only had one bite, but I I liked mine better!!!!

The decorations were perfect!!! I loved them! I had so many family and friends who helped make it great!

The first pic we have here is my sign in table. Another thign that didn't go as planned is the sign in book. At the last minute my cousin who was supposed to work it could not come. So last minute I had to find a stand in and she didn't do a very good job. Mom said one time she even saw her sitting down and just letting people walk in. It's okay though. The table still looked great. Not as many people got my programs because of her either and that sucked because I worked so hard on them.

The first picture is of my family. On the left is my brother who was also an usher. Of course I didn't get to see him seating people, but my mother said he did a great job. The middle lady is of my lovely mother and the one on the right is my daddy.

Yes there were some glitches. I guess everyone's wedding will have some. I will admit at one time I was in tears over the flowers, but the other ones were pretty, just not what I wanted.

The pictures from the ceremony didn't turn out very well. I'm sure the professional ones will. I gave my camera to my cousin, but he didn't know how to work it well. I should have given him a crash course, but I didn't. I had so much going on! Here is what I have.

Our first dance was amazing! It was just wonderful. I can't really explain it. We danced to Alan Jackson's Like Red on a Rose. It's a beautiful song and I love it! Justin likes it too. It was him that actually picked it out.

I would still go back and ask for a partial refund, you didn't get what you paid for!

I agree Melissa. I believe there isn't an excuse. While roses are expensive aren't callas more expensive?? You deserve compensation Kacie!! :D

Yes callas are more expensive. I was also looking at the head table display and she put mini callas in it and there were supposed to be large callas. You know she could have at least called us before hand and warned us. Mom said she didn't even say anything to her until mom said something while they were setting it up. At least that was the only major thing wrong with the wedding. Other than that, I am pefectly happy with the way it turned out.

I may talk to mom about going back and talking with the florist. After all, it was her money that paid for the particular ones that were botched.

Everything looks beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!! One thing to be thankful atleast is that your attendents didn't get neon orange or yello daisy's as their bouquets lol. I know how expensive calla's are and that truly sucks the big one.
I just showed my Mom your cake and she is in awwww over it. Everything looks just lovely and I'm so happy for you!!

Sorry about the florist...I agree, you need to be compensated for the shortcomings...however from what I could see they were still beautiful. However when we couldn't find our DJ and found him in the bar, I think people kind of realized that there was a problem. Matt and I both came back into the reception just fuming!! lol

Yeah it was very....ummmm...well lets just say I was PISSED OFF!! Lol. But I tried not to let it get to me and he didn't seem like he was drunk so that was good.

Yeah I think I'd be calling the florist so that she could get aquainted with POST wedding Bridezilla. Lol. If she likes her business and wants to continue to build clientele, I think she'd do something and give you some money back!! However, dealing with MOB post wedding and upset can work very well too!! :wink:

I am so happy you had such a beutiful day. You looked amazing, stunning, and so happy. Everything really looked amazing and I am so happy to hear that almost everything went off without a hithc. I still think the bm flowers are pretty even though they are not what you wanted. I would honestly go back to her and say you want some money back because calla lillies are more expensive than roses and would also ask why you weren't notified prior to her doing up the bouquets. Atleast you could have had a say in what they looked like if you get what I mean. I just don't understand why she wouldn't have called you when these brown calla lilies came in ya know? I'm sorry I hope I'm not upseting you by going off here but I would have a lot of questions for the florist....Maybe a little bridezilla is coming out of me here!!! LOL I will remeber when I talk to my florist that if there is any changes that need to be made from what i orignally ask for that I want notified!!!

I agree that the flowers still looked good and at least that is something nobody knew about. This florist was a last minute thing because our original florist went out of business. Luckily we were able to get our deposit back, but we had to find another one pretty quickly. Many were booked or their prices were more than we wanted to pay. Hindsight is 20/20, but now I wish we would have paid the extra money and gone with one of the more expensive florists.

At my grandmother's funeral my aunt gave me a cd with some more pictures on it. They take unbelievably long to load onto photobucket, but I got two done so far. They are of the entire wedding party.

Wow, you guys really have quite a bit of greenery left in TX on 12/30! Up here, you couldn't find a single green leaf on a tree outside (excluding evergreens) to save your life. LOL

Yeah, that's how it is. Up in the northern part of the state I think they have less greenery. We have lots of pines and they stay green. It's probably a bit less green now because by then we hadn't had much cold weather. We've had a cold January (for Texas) so it's not as green now, but still green.
