I'm curious what brides are looking for in an officiant, and in their ceremony? What kinds of things are turn-offs on an officiant's website and advertising? What information would you really like to know?
Don't know how else to present these questions, because putting them in any kind of context might cause a bride to not answer on some detail that could end up being important to know.
Your help and feedback is appreciated.

Im not a officiant, but I can tell you from experience in online advertising that a top quality website is very important. I have stressed this so many times to vendors in the past, that the quality of your website and your advertising will predict the performance of your online presence. Your website is your forefront of advertising, Your website is the first thing a bride will see, and that alone can make or brake you when it comes to pulling your company to the top.

Things that we were interested in knowing where: diversity in ceremony. My finace and I do not go to church, we do not claim a religion and therefore did not want something with a lot of prayer and mention of God. We want our ceremony to be simple and not too long. We wanted to know if we had to go to any pre marriage counceling. These might be somethings you could include on your website. Also times to call you. I do not know how many websites I have gone to and not found times to call or hours of operation. I work nights at a job where I can be on the internet. I have done most of our wedding planning this way. Since I work nights I sleep during the day and would like to know when the best time to call places is so that I can arrange my sleep schedule this way.
Prices is always a good thing too. I know some of the officiants we have met with run on a "donation basis" but some do not.
A "contact me" form is great too! I have been able to do a lot of planning with this. I can send the emails while I am at work during the night and the vendor can reply when they are available and then there is a message usually waiting for me when I get back to work at night. This has helped a lot more than anything during the wedding planning.
I hope this helps even if only a little
